Do we need sequel to Call of juarez Gunslinger?

Hello friends,

So This game was released in 2013. long ago and it become the best wild west game ever made (sorry RDR). the reason it being because its incredibly fun, its gunplay is almost FEAR and Doom tier. its story is amazing and lot like Max payne as it has comic book style cutscene and main character silas greeves is so badass. its Max payne equivalent of western FPS.

Before Gunslinger, COJ games were terrible. original was bad, bound in blood was bad and cartel was worst of all. It was out of nowhere and become great.

so i have been thinking that where is the sequel? why did techland made shitty Dying light instead of its sequel. although Dying light 2 looks great but i really hope they will make a sequel to this. the only problem with this game was its too short but it was not full price game. if sequel use bigger budget and being more longer with linear but somewhat open design then it will become masterpiece.

so my friends, do we need sequel to best western game ever made? lets discuss.

Another Call of Juarez would be fine, too. Just not like the Cartel. Bound in Blood/Gunslinger like.

The original was actually really good (although I heard that the dumbed-down US release was terrible, adding regenerating health and other gameplay 'improvements')

I guess the series died because nobody played the rest of the series?

@ghosts4ever: Why do you always have to play stupid? First of all yea I'd love a sequel to Gunslinger it was a lot of fun, actually took me by surprise. Then you have to ruin it all with your ungodly bad trolling/opinions...its NO way better then RDR. This is why you're the laughing stock of this board.

Gunslinger was fantastic and i wish next COJ would be like gunslinger.

Gunslinger was most successful game in series. and probably most beloved too.

look at its steam reviews. overwhelmingly positive. 97% positive.

I like RDR1 and it was ok. have yet to play RDR2 and waiting for PC version.

RDR1 has too much of boredom like cow hearding missions and etc and it was too easy that its impossible to die.

Gunslinger is fun, challenging game. its gunplay is far better and almost equal to Doom and FEAR. its story is also better and i love how silas greeves narrating story.

Yes, after playing gunslinger I really expected a sequel, especially considering how well it sold. But perhaps that is in the hands of Ubisoft?

Though Techland has moved on to bigger games now.

guess they will make it after they done with Dying light 2.

Would definitely love a sequel to that or GUN.

Yes. The best western ever. Only one that come close is Outlaws from Lucas Arts. Both RDR games had too many issues

Let's not overrate this game. I don't think it needs a sequel, though I wouldn't complain if it had one. The game is decent but nothing more. 7/10.

@ghosts4ever: Gunslinger is COD with last chance and perks. It's about as COD as a Call of Juarez gets.

Yeah that would be great. I really, really enjoyed the one we with with PS+ a while back.
