@Vatusus: He's trying to bait you into a rage over this silly Demo timely exclusive.

TBH, he never played anything outside of PlayStation, Vatusus thinks "Watching YouTube gameplay videos" makes him an expert LOL

Speaks a sheep, ya kno, the fanboys who only see Nintendo and nothing else

I do play PC, however. Check my accounts on Steam, Origin, UPlay, GOG, Battle.net. All Vatusus as username. My brother also owned a Wii and I still have my old Yellow banana edition GameBoy, so I know a thing or two about the vastly overrated Nintendo franchises

I'm gonna do something crazy ...... and actually discuss the demo.

Nero is lamer to play as, then Dante in DMC3. It was true in 4 and it looks to be true again, but I think the devil breakers should make it an improvement over 4.

Still enjoyed the demo, looks great.... soundtrack could be a problem. Convinced me to probably get the game near release. I'm really hoping Dante is as fleshed out as the DMC3 version.

@AsadMahdi59: I really enjoyed playing as Nero in Devil May Cry 4 myself, found him to be quite fun. Haven’t played this demo but watched some gameplay of it and it looks like I’ll really enjoy playing as him in this game also.

I love the song Devil Trigger and while I dislike the vocals in Dante’s theme the music itself sounds good.

Yes, I'm mostly a cow. Never hid it. So what? Thats doesnt mean I dont play on other platforms and cant be objective when I must be. I beat Bayonetta 1 on hard, was even considering buying a WiiU at the time just for Bayonetta 2. Superb combat, definitely one of the best HnS games around. Saying this, DMC combat mechanics are still the best in the genre. What Bayonetta has is more accessibilty: its floaty combat makes staying on the air waaay easier then in DMC, where you must master jump cancel in order to do so. In Bayonetta you can mash buttons and still do cool sh*t (thats why most HnS newbs think its a better combat system), while in DMC you actually must master its combat mechanics in order to do so. Again, having more combos and accessibilty isnt the same as being better. Look at Ninja Gaiden for example: Its combo movement set is severely lacking but since it focus more on dodging and blocking attacks its still a superb combat system at what it does.

So, in conclusion, no. Bayonetta combat still hasnt beat DMC

@MonsieurX: MS bad. Sony good!

The problem isnt MS doing it but rather with wich franchise is doing it with. DMC always had a strong connection with PlayStation and the same goes for RE. This is business, sure, but capcom should have known that grabbing such a franchise and promoting it on Xbox would annoy old DMC fans wich supported the franchise on PS consoles

If MS had an exclusivity deal with, say, the next Splinter Cell no one would be annoyed cause the series is heavily connected with the xbox brand

And yet, SF was started in arcades or NES if I remember correctly. Final Fantasy on NES. MG on MSX/NES. CoD on PC. GTA on PC. All later became exclusive in some way on PS. Why Sony or Sony fans be given special treatment.

Because you said this:

As a DMC and PS fan I must say it really annoys me Capcom siding with MS to promote DMC V... DMC is a PS franchise, it started on PS and it was PS fans who gave it recognition. I was really eager to try the demo out

F U Capcom

True, you are right and you are free to not like it however even if you didn't explicitly stated about Sony fans be given special treatment you came across as doing that. It has happened to other platforms, it may or may not have worked but it happened. PS brand is built out of third-party exclusives that were previously exclusive to other platforms. It's just disingenuous to make a deal out of it now.

Yeah, but notice how I blame Capcom for this, not MS. Sure, they may have needed the money MS offered to them but they should have known their older fans wouldnt be happy about it and they made the deal the same way. The same could be said about all of those developers who signed with Sony all those years. They should have cattered to the fans but they chose the green instead... like they always do
