“In fact, at its worst, we noted PS5 delivering a 15 per cent performance advantage over its Microsoft equivalent in identical scenarios.”
“Beyond performance matters, it's pretty clear that Assassin's Creed Valhalla still needs a lot of work - especially on Xbox platforms. We encountered plenty of bugs playing this game: in addition to some weird performance bottlenecks on Series consoles, we also noted that camera motion doesn't update with a linear relationship to frame-rate during cutscenes, meaning some ugly looking stutter even with the engine actually running flat-out at 60fps (PS5 is fine here).“
And Lems said the console war was over...
@goldenelementxl: To give its due, Ubisoft is still using literally the same engine with improvements since Syndicate. So until Ubisoft actually develops a newer version of its engine like a 3.0 version, Ubisoft games are still gonna be literally a joke to compare. But then again same can be said about every other AAA yearly title.

yeah it is they also said it was a dev issue not a console issue
"Series X definitely needs some work this version of the game. If you're playing on a normal display the tearing is extremely distracting. Like its just not good enough." (speaking on the XSX version of the game) he goes on to say "This is on the developer" (quote at the video where it is timestamped)
Didn't we have several threads on this topic?
I saw another thread on this topic. Also the TC needs to say something on his thread to start a discussion instead of embedding a Youtube video and saying "Discuss."
Only 30fps on Series S. I thought that CPU would allow 60fps minimum on games. Guess not.
The gap he's talking about is how far ahead PS5 will be from Xbox despite the TF difference!!
I think its shocked a few people about the proformance on the xbox series x but when you really look into it, the ps5 dev kits has been out since last year when the ps5 was going to release in 2019, xbox dev kits are literally months old and developers have ported the ps5 version of the games to xbox to get them out for launch , that's why they look identical on both platforms but the optimisation just isn't there on the series x.
It's a bit expected by Ubisoft, but still, you would think that massive power difference that some here think it is would bring the Xbox XsX at least on par with the PS5. If the XsX could stay at a higher resolution when dropping frames it would have been ok, but they are running at the exact same resolution with the PS5 sometimes managing higher in certain scenes.
Somethings going on in the background on that XsX. Maybe it's something in the DirectX API that's hogging performance?
Anyhow, expect no real difference between the PS5 and XsX this gen.
@bluestars: lmfao, huge power gap
Guess you missed the part about "this is on the developer" huh? Doesn't surprise me, you seem to be trying very very hard to push "they're equal" narrative. That and you're a walking talking pile of irony in almost every post of yours.
The power difference really doesn't keep you up at night huh?
