They hit their peak with the game, so I would like to see another new IP from them or make 2 studios like Naughty Gods and have 1 team work on Infamous and another on a new IP.

I don't think the game fatigued the franchise, but it sure didn't help it that much either. SS was a good game, it just didn't do anything special. OK story, OK characters, boring repetitive missions. I am looking forward to the next InFamous game though. I'm hoping that this time SP will focus more on the game play and less on trying to show off the graphics.
I highly enjoyed it. Played Infamous 1 and 2 for the first time right before getting Second Son without reading too much about it. The different kind of powers were a nice surprise to me because I thought you would just be another electric dude. Main character was also a lot less annoying than I thought he would be. Still liked Cole more but he was alright. Fetch was awesome. I agree on the lack of enemy variety but all in all I'm glad that I played it.
It cost serious fatigue for me, I had hoped for an advancement of the series, instead it felt like one step farwards, 3 steps back and repetetive to the point of cringeworthy.
It might because I really liked the two first infamous games that I felt that SS was such a let Down. I mean what does this game have over the prior outside of the powerswitching (with a caviot), and prettier Graphics? The World seemed Automatic and void, it felt halfbaked, and I still think It would have been a great game had it had another year in Development. It felt unfinished, and the slowdowns and oddities were borderline unforgivable (well most of the oddities I would classify as the most charming point soeh).
it just sustain the decently good franchise it is. Which to me is a bad thing.
All the Infamous games are all solid 8/10s, but why do i wanna keep playing a series that doesnt improve or does anything out of the ordinary?
It didnt fatigue it, but if the next Infamous game is just more of the same another 8/10, then they should seriously consider pulling the plug.
WTF? If you cant make a game better than 8/10 stop making those games?
I enjoyed it a lot and loved jumping back in with First Light.
I'd love another Infamous game but at the same time, I think it's time Sucker Punch to move on with a new IP.

not to mention that by "non-gaming" standards an 8/10 is a damn good score.
Infamous SS is pretty much what I expected it to be. A much better-looking version of Infamous 1 and 2. I really liked it but the side missions are completely pointless.
I don't think they've reached fatigue level yet even with First Light but if they make another one they really need to sort out the side missions or people will say 'not this crap again'.
I always loved Infamous but this one raged me after .20 sec. of playing.
I was ready to take hostages at a local Wal-Mart but talked myself out of it when I realized much better games were coming on Xbox. My thirst will be quenched but not by Infamous Second Son...........or his third............or his seventh.
Thank you Microsoft. Keeping lunatics on the verge of cracking in their basements.
Played them all a bit... In the end I only bought the Halloween one. It's the best in the series and it was enough to sate me.
@FoxbatAlpha: Better games on Xbox? Really? Like Dead Boring 3? Ryse? What are you looking forward to? I was originally planning on buying an X1 but right now the only reason would be Masterchief Collection and I can't justify buying an X1 just for that though I probably will eventually.
Honestly I thought the first Infamous was grossly over-rated.. The game was too repetitive in so many areas and really felt like I was playing Assassin's Creed 1 all over again in doing the same generic mission again for the hundredth time to secure the city..
Haven't played it, but all talk of the game died down surprisingly quick after release, most PlayStation exclusives are usually talked up for months.
All visuals for me. Cool powers. That's about it. I traded it in after I beat it and I don't usually trade games in.
Both KZ:Shadow Fall and Infamous:SS were really just two games designed to bring over PS fans to PS4. GG is already working a new IP and Sucker Punch is most definitely not very far behind. I very much doubt those IP's will stick around this generation.

I have to disagree with that, especially with how many copies both sold (Killzone and InFamous)
