DF: The Division 2: Next-Gen Runs at 60FPS - But What's Up With PS5 Visuals?

• 60 fps backward compatibility update for next gen
• Series S 900p-1080p with temporal reconstruction
• Series X 1800p-4K also with temporal reconstruction
• PS5 1080p-1890p withh reconstruction
• Series X BC helps better than PS5's BC
• mostly a resolution and performance upgrade
• PS5 patch has problems (missing and odd features from X|S)

• Definitely, a bug as these features and effects are in the PS4 Pro version
• Though missing all of those effects, the PS5 is a solid 60 fps except for a rare spot during combat
• There are also rare screen tears on PS5
• Series X dips more frequently but not frequently enough to be an issue
• Leveling up can make the fps dip where it doesn't on PS5
• Series S has fewer drops than Series X
• Series S has a bug where drops happen after you die
• Series X wins at loading speeds. PS5 takes 10 seconds longer to load.

The game was over 100GB before the next gen upgrade. I got bored with it and deleted it off the HDD already.

PS5 new champion of black crush but manages almost locked 60 with settings inferior to PS4 Pro. Loading times much slower than Xbox Series X and S.

Xbox Series X collapses when displays text on screen. Series S best overall version.

I wouldn't even call it an enhancement as the Pro has all of those missing features.

@silentchief: honestly they update things so much stuff breaks all the time, things like ladders and ropes that should work are out of alignment and can't be climbed, and it's a crapshoot whether their support staff acknowledges these issues

As Sony claims PS5 is a 4K - 8K console (so sucks at doing any other resolution than those)

The ps5 doesn't fix bad programming. The ps5 upgrade is missing things that the ps4 pro have. That is CLEARLY bad programming.

My point still stands, when the PS5 is better, cows be like its more powerful, but when its not, its bugs, bad programming and the like.

Missing features is not the same as bad programming. I suggest you learn the difference.

Also, most wasn't citing that the ps5 was more powerful, but instead clowning the XSX for having more power, and it not showing in games.

In this instance, it's clearly a bug, seeing that it's missing effects thare present in the pro version.

DF are puzzled as to how this was released. There’s no reason these features should be missing. Even if the frame rate dips below series x.

So basically now the game runs at the same settings on console I ran it at 2 years ago on PC when I got the game for free, tried it, then uninstalled it because I kept falling asleep while playing that boring AF shit.
