Who the hell would want to play a FPS with a gamepad? M/KB will always be better. Also who the hell cares about the COD series it's responsible for the dumbing down of the FPS genre along with Halo.

It's an interesting exercise, but in this case mostly an academic one in several respects. Beyond the issue we have in precisely matching settings and where we can't access dynamic resolution scaling on PC (more's the pity!) it's not entirely representative of actual use-case scenarios.

In AC Valhalla a 2070 super wasn't a match for the PS5 eitherit was much slower as well, so for $400 dollars you simply can't ask more and you can't deliver better results on PC for that price.

Take into account than in 2013 a 7850 was beating the PS4 without much effort, and that was lower than mid range back then.

Either way near 3070 is ok by 8% or 40% thats one good ass GPU.

No, it's not. Not at the same settings, resolution, and RT.

The Approximate settings are an extremely close match. Not sure how you would say a 2060 is somehow winning when that's clearly not the case.

@pc_rocks: looking at the difference in visuals its doubtful it would make up for the massive frame difference. Also what proof do we have that a 2060 is better in RT?

Digital Foundry said that the 2070 Super was under 10% slower than the PS5 in the most demanding scene they used in Valhalla and it was only about 5 FPS slower in actual framerates. I think that solidifies it even more that the PS5's GPU is equal to the RTX 2070 Super in rasterization. AC Valhalla is also more biased towards AMD cards than Nvidia hence why a RX 5700 XT is only a couple frames slower than the RTX 2080 Ti in that game when in most other games its a 20% performance difference. Funny thing is the RTX 2060 Super isn't that far off in performance either being only 10 FPS slower than it.

PS5 also has the controller advantage too. So we can throw in Lems in the ownage too.
