Developer VooFoo: One X Substantially More Powerful Than The Pro

Wow is your reading comprehension bad, I mean real bad. I didn't say they don't believe it's more powerful, I said they don't believe it's significantly more powerful. You and your bovine friends are now trying to say it's marginally more after years of calling the difference between the PS4 and X1 huge.

A difference of 500GF is minuscule compared the 2TF difference now but that's never been the point el tormented. The point is cows making the claim of that 500GF difference being huge but are now calling the 2TF difference between the X1X and Pro being negligible. It's called being a hypocrite el tormented but I'm sure you can surf thru years of posts to find how much of a hypocrite you cows are though I'm sure your lack of reading comprehension would get in the way.

This ^^ one is juicy because include MS damage control,in fact Albert Panello denied the 40% advantage of the PS4,and he say the game were identical,only to make an ass of him self when he refused to confirm COD was 720p on xbox one a 100%+ gap in resolution between the 1080p PS4 version.

Meh, the Pro is substantially more powerful than the PS4 but it doesn't really show in games. Unless XBox OX gets "exclusives" that don't need to run on the XBox One, too, I'm not sure why people expect to be impressed.

No. The power difference between the PS4 and XBO is about 40%. The X and Pro is about 43%.

the word "Substantially" is not a number. DF agrees that the difference in power is in the 40% range.

So me not saying"substantially" is a sticking point for you? The Xbox One will only fail to meet the hype set forth by people like you and Ron. The rest of us know what to expect from a $500 box that will play the same games the original Xbox One plays. The Xbox One X will have a clear advantage over the competition in terms of graphical capabilities and 4K playback. If a person owns a 4K TV and only wants to purchase a single console, I would suggest they buy an Xbox One X 10 times out of 10. I don't even think the Sony exclusives are enough to warrant a purchase over an Xbox One X.

The problem with your shitty argument is that you are not comparing 6 TF to 1.8TF you are comparing 6TF to 4.2TF which mean the gap in power is 43%,regardless of how big you think the number is,in fact a 500Gflops gap between the XBO X and Pro is not the same as 500Gflops between the PS4 and xbox one,because the peak on the later 2 are smaller which mean a smaller gap has the same value as a bigger one between stronger GPU lemming.

So 500Gflops or 2TF which is not is 1.8Tf by the way is about the same gap dude,which is why even MS claim 40% advantage.

I didn't omit it the PS4 version has 1 dropped frame on what look to be a bug fact is 1 frame is NOTHING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING compare to the impact 4x MSAA has over 2x MSAA in both quality and bandwidth usage.

And yes it rise to 31FPS and like i already told you,you will not notice that frame but you will notice 4xmsaa,by the way the bandwidth 1 frame consume is way smaller to what 4x msaa consumes over 2x msaa.

So again the PS4 has faster bandwidth and doesn't have a cumbersome memory structure either by the way.

Well is not the first time something is drop on xbox one either vs the PS4,for example sniper elite 3 drops vsynch on xbox one,and the game tears like hell,an option was introduce to enable it and lock the game to 30FPS when the PS4 version can hit 60FPS creating a 100% games at times.

Or how even that MGS5 ground zero was 720p on xbox one and 1080p on PS4 it also had dynamic skies which reflected the sun rays,the xbox one version had a static sky like the PS3 and 360 version.

You heard it here folks! Digital Foundry don't know squat about hardware. They're just pixel counters. That's Why MS chose them for the hardware specs reveal and not someone more knowledgeable.

I've always called Cows out for their flip flopping, and I am for some reason shocked to see the Lems doing the same thing the Cows did 3 1/2 years ago. Cows called out Lems for downplaying the difference between the PS4 and Xbox One and Lems hiding behind PC. I was accused of hiding behind PC by @tormentos dozens of times, when all I was doing was calling Cows out for overhyping RAM when none of them even knew what RAM was or did before the PS4 was announced. It's right there in the numbers. X = 6 Tflops vs Pro = 4.2 Tflops. That's about a 43% difference in power.

PS4 1.84 Tflops vs XBO 1.31 Tflops. That's about 39-40% difference in power.

PS4 was able to hit higher resolutions more frequently than XBO so we should expect the X to hit 4K more frequently.

I would really like to hear what you guys think a substantial difference means? What do you expect to see out of this upgrade?

The only theoretical statements made by Digital Foundry the past few months are their statements regarding the Xbox One X reveal and comparisons to PC hardware.
