Not really, The game is heavily relied upon choices, it is a point and click adventure, but your choices impact in story development.

I think i know why it got delayed.

It will have a Halo 6 demo. That's the only thing that helped sell the 1st game.

Never had any interest in this. But I hope those wanting to play this enjoy it.

7 our of 10 is still a good score. May wait for a price drop to try it out. I did like heavy rain so I might like this. Not every game is going to be a 9 out of 10 and you will find some gems that weren’t reviewed so well.

I'm more than half way done with the game. I'm really enjoying it. But I always enjoy these kind of games. I would grade it in the 80-85 range which isn't too far from Metacritic. A 7 is a good score anyways. I'm not sure why people are calling it a flop.

SW is a joke these days. Was there even a hype thread for this? What was the agreed/voted hype? How can it flop if there wasn't? So sad to see SW just become a place where gifs are what is used rather than rational discussion.

I've only watched online the first 2 hours of the game but I really liked what I saw. The visuals, atmosphere and futuristic premise seem top notch.

It's because most of the resources were put into rendering the faces. The rest of the game just doesn't look as good as the faces.

Yeah, God of War set the bar graphically, but even then, Detroit's faces are better than anything I've seen so I could only imagine what Detroit could have looked like if given all the tools.

Not true. Watch the DF analysis, the blurriness of the game is intentional and down to the type of AA used. They are going for a very cinematic filmic look unlike most games out there and they chose to use a very agressive Temporal AA to achieve that virtual camera look within a game feel and look. They could have made everything crisp and sharp but chose not to do so. It’s why even when you run the game at Checkerboard 4K on a Pro it still doesn’t look as sharp as God of War or Horizon. The camera within the game goes in and out of focus along with the crazy post-processing and heavy AA use. Everything in the game has a soft edge to it as a result of this and I think it suits the tone of the game well.

I think it's probably one of those games which divides opinion. Middling meta-scores because you either love it or hate it.

I've just recently been listening to Isaac Asimov's Robot series and loved Caves of Steel, the book DBH seems to be an homage to. I'd probably take a closer look if this was on sale on PC (because I'm cheap like that :P).

Which is technically not true. The blurriness has nothing to do with resources and is a conscious decision made by the devs. DF clearly explains the reason why this was done but instead you called me a "shill" for trying to educate you guys on the matter.

Maybe you're sleepy or something but nowhere in my original post that you quoted do I debate the blurriness of the game. Why you keep bringing up the fact it's blurry is baffling to say the least.

I'm educating the poster I quoted on the reason for the blurriness not trying to debate whether it's blurry or not. He claims the blurriness is due to resources and I correct him and explain that it has nothing to do with resources and is a conscious decision by the devs to get a more cinematic look to the game. The devs did it for the same reason some devs use film grain or chromatic aberration. Techniques that make games look more blurry but achieve a certain look and feel to a game. Whether you find them visually appealing or not isn't the question here. I personally would prefer if they toned down the post-processing and TAA but I can see why they would want to use them for artistic reasons.
