Damn, this game looks mighty good. I can't think of a better looking next gen game at the moment. If I were a Lem, I'd ask for a refund on my Xbox/GamePass preorder and invest in PS5 and Demon's Souls. What say you, SW? Is this impressive or what?

Game definitely looks great for sure. This will probably be one of the first games that I pick up when I get a PS5.
Cows really are having a hard 2020. In case people don't know, CP 2077 on PC exists and a remake by Bluepoint on a weak system has no chance. Not to mention the art direction of remake is inferior to original.
Also, LOL at 1440p on a next-gen system. So much for 8K and up to 120FPS.
@SolidGame_basic: Looks pretty good.....I'd try it if was on psnow, but 70 bucks for a remaster?.
Nah mate.

Good thing I can play both of those on PS5. No need for a PC 😇
1440p is the res I play at, actually most PC gamers with a 2070 upwards or whatever. Not sure why that gets shitted on, weird.
60 fps isn't 144, but seems an improvement for next gen consoles in my eyes.
lol the cows are at it again:)
The cows have games to play at launch. Wish I could say the same for the lems. But look on the bright side young lemmington, 2024 will probably be a killer year for XSX 😇
@NathanDrakeSwag: still a hermit ( with a PS4 and a switch) so I seen all the graphic kings games last gen and nope none of them could compete with pc, and don’t see it changing this gen..
Looks great but CP2077 with full rt looks better in my opinion. This'll be the first game I get when I get a ps5, but I won't pay $70 for a remake of a game I played 11 years ago. Actually, I won't pay $70 for any game. That's just me though.
This looks sooooo much better than the original - the combat looks more fluid, tight, and that framerate boost will be transformative. There are scenes there juxtaposing close to 10fps on ps3 with 60 on ps5.
The original game needed this bad. I've stopped my replay and will just wait for this, because it's kinda painful by modern standards

Are you getting it or waiting on the PC version?

Wow, even Xantu is impressed. Hype raised!
It looks and runs better than the PS3 version, I guess. Linear game running at 1440p 60ish FPS thanks to the mighty SSD and rDNA 3 GPU. Lems can't get a break.
30 fps HaH
tho credit for the 60fps performance mode,it should be implement in every game next gen.
lets see that performance when/if RT is implemented
as for graphics...this shits on DS and it has a 120 mode on serious X..enjoy dem grafix

Good for you. Enjoy sub 4K/30 FPS. I'll play both at 4K/60 with much higher settings than PS5 could dream of. Also all the Bethesda MS library.

At launch*
When asked if Demon's Souls would ever release on PC, Sony declined to elaborate further.

@SolidGame_basic: It’s definitely coming to the PS4. No game design or mechanics in this game that requires new hardware. Purely trying to push new consoles. Will be announced on PS4 very early next year.
1440p with no ray tracing to hit 60fps? What happened to this SSD taking the load off of the GPU? What happened to streaming pixels to take loads off the CPU and GPU?
Visually it looks ok. Not impressed or mind blowing. No revolutionary game play. No revolutionary game design. Current gen game that will be on PS4.

For now, Cyberpunk will definitely be the graphics king, especially with 3080s and 3090s pushing the envelope for RT power along with DLSS 2.0.
There's one thing i still don't understand. They seem to have a 30fps/4k mode and a1440p/60fps performance mode, which is exactly what i wanted all next gen games to be. But, WHERE IS THE NATIVE 1440P SUPPORT FOR THE PS5? I don't want to play a 1440p image upscaled to 4k. Give me my god damn 1440p native support, Sony. MS has been doing it for a long ass time even with the Xbone, and sony still doesn't support it with their next gen hardware. With the current gen i could kinda understand that they aren't supporting it because they're in the TV business so their system supports the more popular tv resolutions which is 1080/4k. But this does not work with the upcoming generation. Plenty of games will most likely run at 120fps (or should i say up to 120fps). How am i supposed to achieve 120fps on a tv? Then there's another issue, which is freesync. They have to support monitors ffs.
I'm glad there is a 60 option, but kinda sucks they had to drop to 1440. Still, that will be my preferred way to play.
If all they're dropping is resolution, that's fine. But if they're lowering graphical settings and RT, that's would suck. If that's the case, it kinda sucks that they need to do it already, because that's a launch title. What will happen in two years from now if they're already downgrading titles on day one.
So AC Valhalla is "said to be" 4k/60fps and Bluepoint can't even get a shitty PS3 game remastered to 4k/60fps on the PS5. Man either Bluepoint are shit or the PS5 is, hey maybe its both lol.

It's because it looks so damn good.....It ISN'T a remaster.

Yea it's a remake. I played their remake of Shadow of the Colossus. Looks incredible. And this game looks incredible too!

Developers..... once used to the hardware, can use neat tricks and shortcuts to achieive desired outcomes, either with resolution or graphics, there needs to be a balance tho. But the principle is that If you push nothing but graphics, then expect a downgrade in resolution among other things, it's up to the developers.

This wouldn't be an issue if the system wasn't 9,2tflops, or at least not at launch.

Ah cows and "teh looks" lol.
Cool. Gonna wait for the PC version. I'm not too hyped by the game atm, but if it doesn't come out for PC, I'll just wait before a PS5 slim comes out.
I do wish Sony would support 1440p natively. If a game can render better at 1440p with better graphics than the 4k counterpart, allow people to run that resolution natively. There is nothing wrong with 1440p on a 27" monitor. I'm waiting for the inevitable c11 oled to launch before upgrading my TV. The cx seems to be having gsync issues from what I'm hearing.
