From the character model standpoint and gunplay it does not look like it is doing anything revolutionary... But I enjoy these games where the same instance repeats itself, and each time you play you learn more and more about how to solve the puzzle. Eventually you will get to the point to learn how to take out all your targets in one run... and pulling it off looks like it will be satisfying.

Throw in a Demons Souls like player controlled boss trying to stalk you on any given run. Has some real potential and here and feels pretty unique compared to whats out there.

I would suggest playing Prey Mooncrash to get a sense of what they are trying to pull off with this game. But it may not be your cup o tea... just wanted to answer your question.

In terms of gameplay it looks like Dishonored on steroids. The world seems a bit generic though. Not nearly as beautiful and immersive as Dunwall/Karnaca or Prey's space station.

Yeah ... you either have to be trolling or be extremely salty about something to not see how interesting and original this game sounds, hopefully they will be able to materialize the idea into something unique and fun.

Yeah it seems to be all about the gameplay and gameloop this time, and not about the world building or influencing the world you are in. Like Dishonored and Prey were.

Gameplay wise, suspect will probably be quite good, like most of their games. But does seem like an uphill battle to market.

This new trailer seems to reflect that sentiment.

So it's a rogue-like... not that the genre has interested me much but I have come to like a few, like Enter the Gungeon, Everspace, I would kind of put Outer Wilds on cusp since it had that whole Groundhog Day time loop going but you really only take your own knowledge with you. I am very curious. Seems Sony picked a good exclusive to grab, good on MS for buying ZeniMax so it'll be in Game Pass eventually. Glad there's a leveling skills and equipment progression, I would hate it if the goal of the game is to find the perfect approach with no progression and the key gets posted to death and I know how to beat it before I even set hands on it.
