A) LOL @ "Alt-Left"... come on now. Days Gone and Kingdom Come are kind of wack, no amount of race baiting from Polygon or whatever will change that.
B) Why let it eat you alive? There's a lot of people that still don't even know what to make of the game. If the game got good scores, you don't have to buy it.

I would call TC crazy, but Abby Russell at over at Giant Bomb referred to Death Stranding as “high art” on many occasions even though the only experience she has with Kojima is P.T. How Kojima gets a pass with his odd over sexualization of women and on the nose political references in his games is beyond me. Abby couldn’t play Nier Automata because of the outfit the main female character wore and camera control that allowed players the ability to look up her skirt. But Death Stranding is high art...
I don't doubt Kojima will get a free pass from either Kojima fans or Sony fanboys, but I am hoping it turns out decent. As long as it's not an over-indulgence in exposition, and/or has substantive gameplay and isn't a shallow tech demo, I can see this at very least worth playing. Truthfully I wasn't buying into any hype for this prior to latest videos but after having viewed recent footage lately, I gotta say, I am more interested in the game now, I hope it shapes up well by time it releases.

Oh and literally anyone with long term studies in cinematics will tell you that ALLL kojima games are filled with high quality art. Some might question the writing but the buck stops there.

If I wanted to talk about all MS published games I would have made it clear (since that would include great games like Cuphead and Ori that are clearly not flops). Nah it's because his games are overrated.
MGS V which scored lots of 10s is one of the worst open world games of all time.(I even consider True Crime 2 to be a better open world game than that Kojima abomination.)
1.Unskippable heli rides and bad fast travel to waste players time.
2.A weak story that in the end it was written to just annoy the players.
3.FOB is bad and MGO 3 is terrible.
4.Exploration is non existent. In open world games exploration is one of the main aspect of that genre.
5.Side missions are weak.(Just either easier versions of main missions or some boring ones that you can't fail in them)
6.Combat is shallow.(Just a cover shooter with regenerative HP)
7.The game encourages the players more to upgrade their weapons and equipmants than play the game better.(In the end you just end up stun fultoning everyone)
8.Vehicles are too slow since Fox Engine couldn't handle fast vehicles.
9.Between base areas are just empty wastelands that are there to waste players time.(It is only useful in few main missions, other than that it just makes it more boring)

I never said that it will be a 0/10 game. Also I'm not in any way butthurt that it's Sony exclusive.
It's just this that reviewers will just give it high scores and since I was tricked by the high MC scores of MGS V(A game which was so awful), I don't trust site reviews of Kojima's games ever again.
I think Death Stranding will be judged accordingly but OP is right that Kojima fans are psychotic and so are Sony fans. You mix those two up and you have a recipe that would taste great in a mental institution.
