Actually, Day Z is nowhere to be found in both owned and played Steam data, so you can stop lying.
I said it was in the top sales dingus and has been forever, nowhere did I say it was the most played game or the most owned. Learn to use Steam and learn to read LOL
@KHAndAnime:
Shouldn't you be the one butthurt because this is a good thing for DayZ fans and hermits - the opposite of what your thread was suggesting? You're pretty confused lol
DayZ on a gamepad? no thank you.
Same was said about Diablo III on Consoles. Look how that turned out...fantastic. By most accounts the Console versions are superior.
Bullshit. It sold considerably less and scored lower everywhere. It scored lower here at GS more importantly. Stop with these lies or provide a link. So your console isn't doing as good as PC, there is no reason to constantly fabricate facts and lie.
While thumbsticks work, they are no where as good as mouse for D3.
It'll be a while until PC version is fully done . It'll be ages until the game releases on PS4 .
"Ouch".?
Every year and every gen same reaction but PC still has more exclusives .
More people will get to enjoy an awesome game? The horror...
Will i be reloading an axe on ps4 or it'll be less bs?
Ummm... Have you actually played the standalone game?

What you saw was the mod. Even though the standalone doesn't have everything from the mod yet, like vehicles, what is there atm is absolutely superior to the mod.
For example the Arma engine doesn't support melee, that's why the axe was basically a gun with a very short range and needed reloading. In the standalone the melee has been completely rewritten and integrated into the engine. Also in the past couple of months they hired more people and big updates are coming out every week now, it's going pretty good.

Well it's still being developed, so technically not even Alpha. You should check it again when it goes into Beta. :) And btw it's just $30.

i'd be very surprised if the full game is $30 on ps4
@MBirdy88: No the mod is still far better just because there is a lot more to do in it. Standalone is coming along slowly and updates have been quite regular over the past month or so. There was a 633.5mb update for the dev branch of DayZ SA today but the dev team dont post changelogs so I have no idea whats new.

Changelogs always get posted on reddit. Link.
Going to be interesting to see if it has a community after a month.
That's the one thing that would keep me away from buying this type of game on consoles considering consoles aren't known for having communities outside of maybe Halo, but that's a different game entirely.
A game like DayZ without a community following? No thanks.

before the patches leading up to loot 2.0 I would say that, with a better loot system, offline playability and no RMAH, the console versions were marginally better. (also gems weren't stupidly expensive to craft)
My personal preference is I really liked the thumbstick controls for the console version, and I might actually prefer it to KB/Mouse.
DayZ on a consoles sounds bad.. i would rather play H1Z1 to be honest, atleast it will have a good anti cheat system in it
Lol?
Do next-gen (current-gen?) console games even have anti-cheat systems? And if they did have them, wouldn't the game with a long experienced anti-cheat sub-company (BattlEye) be the one with the better anti-cheat system, rather than the game that has never dealt with cheaters before?
