Dantes Inferno getting laughable bad press.

Game accused of false advertising because it doesn't look like its cinematic advertisement. Discuss.

What? A developer using cinematics?!

Yahoo's Game news has always been pretty bad.

However, this game has been getting bad - average reviews. Yahoo doesn't need to help out that cause.

I know non-PS3 gamers Iron and mac were looking forward to Dante's Inferno as a nice GOW substitute for their 360's. Some other posters were looking forward to the game on PS3, to get the Blu-Ray extra's. Sadly, the game's underperforming. :cry:

That doesn't really work, especially if you own all these games. I do and I can talk about them all day.

Bayonetta is nothing like God Of War when it comes down to brass tacks, and that's a good thing. Comparing GOW to Bayonetta/DMC doesn't really work. GOW isn't about heavy, in depth extreme, and fluid combo's. GOW has elements of DMC, for sure, but story wise GOW is simply epic.

I'm not going to write a review for both games, but I recommend you buy both and play through both all games available to see the differences for yourself.

Bayonetta and DMC, have an anime feel, arcade fun styIe combat, mission styIe breakdowns. There is similarities to GOW, but they aren't comparable game series, really.

Bayonetta isn't epic, it's amazing, it's incredibly fun, and one of the best games of 2010...but they story is not epic. In fact, the story is barely comprehensible. There is no puzzle/zelda type gameplay in Bayonetta either.

Only if you watched a 30 second video snippet of both games would you come to compare them.

Dante's Inferno had a chance since it's Story is very Epic. Dante's Inferno also aped GOW on many, many design elements, which is why comparison are so near.

Bayonetta is an impressive DMC substitute, not GOW substitute.

Just as Mario isn't like Jak/Sly/Ratchet, but to the non platformer gamer, they are the same thing.

The first thing I noticed on the Superbowl ad was the text on the bottom that said "not representative of in-game footage" These are the same people that tomorrow will drive their Toyota through a building and won't know what happened.

I cannot remember where i read it but there is going to be a second Darksiders game.

With regards to Yahoo, most of there sections basically blows. The only semi good things are there email and live sports sections.

Definitely one of the larger and more impressive freebies I've gotten with a game release. That on top of the bonus stuff in the Divine Edition made me a happy camper.

dang you gamespot.... I just typed out a semi long post explaining why the game is not as bad as everyone says, then when I hit "submit" I was logged out somehow and post was lost... so anyway, in fact its better than GOW I & II, in my book.

One reason being the main character is likable in DI.
