Cyberpunk 2077 system requirements update by CDPR which includes Ray-tracing!

Since these are the updated specs, it's no wonder why CDPR had to delay this game, this game cannot run on current-gen consoles worth a crap!

*Looks at 1440p with RT RTX 3070* Yikes! Well shit I'm out lol. My RTX 2070 is as good as deadweight. Still gonna play the hell out of CP2077. Anyone who owns Nvidia RTX 3000 or AMD Radeon 6000, bless your souls my fellow PC gamer👏

Its going to be THE killer app for ray tracing... AMD really shot them selves in the foot with the 6800 launch, I mean who the f*** is going to spend $650 on a GPU for 1/2 the performance in THIS game with ray tracing and NO DLSS?... A insane fanboy that's who.

I could go for ryzen 3000 now and dig out the ol Vega 64 again but i dont really want to play the game until i can make it shine.

@navyguy21: pretty sure they are using four different types of ray-tracing. Reflections, ambient occlusion, global illumination, and shadows.

Hm, looks like I might be able to do 1440p Ultra with RT on low? (2070Super). We'll have to see - probably play around a bit to tune things to my taste

3080 in hand feelsgoodman, though depending on how the different levels look I'll probably just run RT high, low, or even off to keep high frames over fidelity. I'll be interesting in seeing how the game runs with DLSS too, I'm starting to think with current gains from DLSS 2.0 games that AI frame processing might be the next big step forward and Cyberpunk is definitely going to be a flagship for the tech.

This game looks significantly better than Legion, is way denser and has a larger world. Legion runs below 30fps all maxed out on a 3090. How is CP2077 supposed to run at 60fps on ultra everything on a 3080? I get it, Ubi games are optimized by monkeys they captured in Zimbabwe, but still, the difference is is too damn ticc.

It's interesting they call the RT minimum "RT Medium". Could be a typo - or perhaps it's a reminder the console versions will be "RT Low" and that's lower than the PC low (defined by the RTX2060 being a hardware minimum)

What is the frame rate for these requirements? These specs mean nothing if it is not indicating the frame rate.

Yeah with RT it really takes on a new level, especially with the aesthetic of this title.

I'm planning on playing this with a new build. My CPU and RAM are 7 years old so it's high-time for an upgrade.

That's pretty good. I guess I'm able to play the game at 1440p (No RT) in ultra which I'm very happy with.

I gotta admit, I had no idea CDPR went all out with RT. Control is gonna have real competition when it comes to using RT fullest.

Ray Tracing is a absolute killer.. it does looks nice but the power requirements are steep.

I won't have my 3090 in time for this game(I'll have it shortly after), but at least I can do 1440p ray tracing with my 2080 Ti. Might be stuck at 60 fps, but we'll see how it is with DLSS.

To be fair, Assassin's Creed Valhalla doesn't look all that great and still runs like crap. I'm pretty sure that's an Ubisoft problem when not even taking CD Projekt into account.
