Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 now runs stable 30fps ahead of June 21 PSN relist

Great news for those waiting for Cyberpunk 2077 to be relisted on PlayStation Network Store, the game now runs better on base PS4 and can hit 30fps far more regularly (but does dip in busy scenes) with latest update patch ver 1.23. The game now runs perfect 30fps for PS4pro users as well. The patch size is 30gb on PS4, quite fking big.

Dont know the performance on base xbone consoles but frankly dont expect much.

Looking forward to the PS5 version. Played it on PC for a bit but was too buggy so I shelved it until it worked out its kinks.

Looks and runs great on Series X.

It runs locked 60fps day 1 on PS5.... pretty good if you cant wait. Though because this is BC ver, downgrades made to base PS4 is affecting the PS5 ver (everything except fps) unfortunately.

In so many shots, this game looks uglier than GTA5, a game from 2013. They took too damn long to release this game. Hiding its ugliness at night under the rain with wet surfaces to show "omg reflections, guys!!!" doesn't impress me.

Imagine having to optimize for a decade old gpu and cpu

Well no wonder it's now running at 30, the streets are almost entirely empty. So the fix was to remove almost all the npc's, right I get ya 😆😆

What a butchered version of the game. So many things are stripped away and it is not even the same game. Play it on PC or next-gen consoles or don't play it at all.

This shows just how bad this was at launch should have had a big delay on last gen.

il only touch this game once i upgraded my gpu.

They should have scrapped last gen. I mean the next gen version won't be coming until 2022 so they could have made it a next gen only game. Would have been better for everyone but they saw what Rockstar did with GTA V and probably wanted to cash in on that.

Key words on base PS4 it runs occasionally at 30 dropping bellow 20 when moving around the world. Should be kept off permanently.

Be interesting to know the sales and refunds for this platform.

Too late now to patch that wound. At this point it's a gesture.

If anyone's still interested in this game, skip last gen. If you don't have a current gen machine, just skip the game entirely.

You're reading that incorrectly. It's H2 2021, with more updates planned going into 2022.

I played the game (physical version) on the base PS4 after patch 1.21 and seriously didnt had that many issues. The game was a blast to play. Loved it. The only major problem I had with it was the terrible loot/crafting system, it was pointless

I'll get the physical PS5 version on or near Black Friday from half price.

What a disaster the base console versions have been.
