Cyberpunk 17gb patch 1.1 introduces new game breaking bug.

Oh yes, more woes to Cyberpunk I loving this, the horse is still not dead. Kotaku (blergh) reported on a new potentially game breaking bug introduced in the patch 1.1 that supposed to fix another bug (LOL) and reloading the game will not work as mentioned by some users. Read below for information, please reconsider updating if you yet reach below point.

.....Patch 1.1 addresses an issue in the mission “Down on the Street” where Takemura would not call, thereby preventing any progress in the mission. He’ll call now, apparently, but then won’t say a word. Some userssay that reloading old saves or creating new save files doesn’t fix it either.

There’s at least one apparent workaround. First, try to call Judy before Takemura calls. When he does, hang up the line, then tackle a side job. (The player who reported this workaround tackled a Delamain side-quest.) Wait 24 hours in-game and Takemura should call in—with dialogue and everything—allowing you to progress in “Down on the Street.”...

I know experiences differ, but I haven't had a single crash or game-breaking bug in over 30+ hours of play.

I have had some funny bugs, and some annoying ones, but that's about it.

Have you played it?

Focusing on anything bad seems to greatly overshadow the numerous positives in the game.

I had this bug before, so it wasn't introduced. This "patch" just made a lot more prominent.

When your 25 hour game breaks due to a bug that borks all of your saves, the good kind of becomes irrelevant when you literally cannot play the game. This patch is one of the worst I've ever seen.

The game is so broken it wouldn't surprise me the overhauls the game needs may require changing game so much people's progress needs resetting. I have been saying all along there is more wrong with the game than bugs or performance issues, they could clean all that up the game still has tons more wrong with it in the design area that needs addressing.

The PC reviewers really did a disservice bending their knee to the hype by making people think the problems were just console problems and excusing the design problems.

Yeah, I had the bug on Kerry's quest where Dum Dum disappears and I can't enter an area. Kind of sucks, but I went ahead and finished the game. Gotta say, I enjoyed my time quite a bit despite not being able to complete that quest. I'll be restarting on another character soon here; already have 95 hours in the game.

While such a bug or other error is not excusable, it unfortunately goes with gaming. Now I'm sure this isn't your initial foray into gaming but we've had all sorts of balderdash for decades whether an actual software or hardware issue hampered play, mistakes while copying a password, battery failing, etc.., If I am to believe what seems to be reported on this game, it shouldn't work on any console.

100+ hours here. Two crashes and one side quest I can’t finish, two piles of cars, one guy falling from the sky, one gun I could dismantle several times.
The side quest is the only one that annoys me.

Guess I'll wait a little longer for some problems to be fixed before purchasing.

This game has been pretty lol-worthy. Enjoyed my PC playthrough and only encountered lower-end bugs like t-posing and the odd glitches. Gonna wait until it's a lot better and do another playthrough on the new PC.

Ps5 version doesn’t have this issue.

When your PS5 doesn't have any games, people will just resort to trashing a game that isn't really all that bad. *shrugs*

Haven't seen the bug yet, but so far I've enjoyed the game.

They fixed 13 game breaking bugs and introduced 1, so pretty decent. I am enjoying the drama, but I wanna be fair to them.

And The Witcher 3 patches introduced bugs as well, like that mutagen crafting one.

And those backwards flying dragons in Skyrim, introduced by patch.

And Kingdom Come was notorious for bugs they introduced, breaking the game until its fixed.

It should be patched already.

I had Brick instead on that mission. Your choice in that early quest matters.

Did they at least fix any of the physics and a.i. yet? I was hoping they would at least make it on par with GTA 5 ps3 version.

Nope really don't know if a patch can fix that I hope so but I'm no programmer.

Trash ass game.

It's never going to be GTAV level of physics or A.I, just be happy if it reaches Crackdown 1 standards.

Wrong. Hundreds of games are released every year without game breaking bugs. Stop trying to rationalize it.

I really wish this game was just erased. I am so sick and tired of hearing anything related to it.

Cyberpunk is in the bushes at this point whatever CDPR do there will always be the broken mess at launch to go back on.

TW3 was a broken mess at launch as well.

Actually, I've been playing video games since at least the days of Asteroids. I even recall seeing an original Pong machine at one point in my childhood.

Gonna be a great game by the time RTX 4060 Tis are easily available in the market.

I've literally given up on cyberpunk on console at this point might wait for the next gen version but even then I guarantee there will be bugs.

@robert_sparkes: lets wait for the 1.2 patch at least. The PS4Pro edition is getting lots of attention it seems for overall improvements.
