Yeah I will at some point... whether it's at launch or not I don't know yet. That'll depend on whether Nintendo releases this so called "Switch Pro" this year. Because I'd probably get that before I get the XSX.

I had an original xbox one system, sold it. Getting a X model soon and plan to use it for a couple of years. After that I'll get a Xbox Series X and PS5 Pro down the road.

Had thought of getting one maybe around 1 year of release as really interested in the design and possible power but the news of no exclusive in first few years just killed my curiosity. I guess I will finally get around to upgrade the PC, been thinking of upgrading the GPU for over a year now but just afraid I will not play it much.

Was PC, PS4, Switch, this gen. I plan on getting the series X as my living room console next gen. Its worth it for me just to be able to continue to have pick up and play between it and my PC. Plus i found the exclusives on PS4 to all be 3rd person action games, nothing with decent MP. I bet i could have more play time with just the MCC than the entire ps4 exclusive library, most are story driven sp 20-35 hour one and done games. PlayStation exclusives are overrated crap, Even Nintendo has better exclusives, PC definitely has better exclusives. **** sony, going back to Xbox, its worth it just for game pass Halo/Forza/Gears. lol

But i'm not going to be upgrading immediately anyway, going to wait 1-2 years, just like i did going into the current gen.

Zero chance. PC is my primary and includes the best versions of MS games and multiplats in addition to the PC exclusives. I will pick up a PS5 for exclusives and fuk Nintendo. Most of their exclusives don't interest me and I can emulate them on PC anyway. I am so happy that I only have to waste money on one console for exclusives next-gen. I wish everything was on PC or course. :)

Yes I am. I’ve owned the original Xbox, Xbox 360, and the Xbox One. I will definitely be getting the Xbox Series X. I plan on preordering one and getting it on launch day along with Halo: Infinite. Going to be a really awesome day.

While I do think the design is cool and functional, I don't need one. I appreciate that MS isn't locking any games behind hardware.

I'll be using Game Pass on PC for MS games.

Yes, without a doubt at some point. The question for me right now is; will MS ease my concerns enough for a launch console, or will I wait until they start releasing exclusives and/or blow me away with something else. The ball is in their court. They are going to have to drop some bombs and prove that gameplay isn't effected on the XSX before I shell out day one though. If they can prove that then yeah, I'm in. Like I said, I'm taking the cautious approach to start out but will get one either way at some point. So, on that note... I guess I'm picking "Yes, I'll get Xbox Series X", since "I'll wind up getting one, but the question is when" isn't an option.

I will get it, but it will depend on whether Forza 8 & Fable are much better on the seX (features wise) as opposed to my X.

Since you are not going PC, I would definitely sell your X1X and put the money towards XSX. X1 consoles were always shit from the beginning. At least XSX will have decent hardware this time around.

I will get it sooner or later, it will just depend on if the games I mentioned end up like what happened between the cross gen game Forza Horizon 2.

Maybe MS will do a replace your X for series X deal. Like $250 cheaper or something.

The only thing that could make me not buy the XBX was if Sony released their games on PC too. That would make me just get a living room PC for the convenience of having just one box.

They will be the same with more pixel and frames,but depending on what kind of alt you are will depend if you like graphics or not.

Are you a post xbox one X lemming or a before xbox one X lemming,because those from 2013 to late 2017 didn't care about more pixels and frames and 720p was ok for them.

That console is already going to be more powerful than my PC and priced at a lower price point. If I can use it like a PC, then sure.

I will stay with X1X, and will wait for a next gen refresh this time, either a PS5 Pro or XsX refresh. Got to finish my backlog first, got ton of games still and happy enough with the X1X for a few more years.

I have gamepass for 3 years on PC and Xbox. Decent work laptop for strategy type games and new Xbox for big TV for me.

10 year ago I'd get a PS5 as well but dont have the same amount of time these days.

There is no emulator for PS4 at this time and it would probably run like shit anyway. I would rather just play games on my PS4 Pro to get the best quality available. I got Breath of the Wild on PC after playing it on Switch and it actually ran properly and was way better than the Switch version. So, I ended up selling my Switch because it was shit and I didn't use it. The funny thing is I don't pirate PC games, and I would gladly support both Nintendo and Sony on PC. Having to buy a console that I have no interest in just to play exclusives is ridiculous. Especially since my PC is already much more capable.

PS5 first, then either a PC or Xbox. If the series x drops in price as fast as xbox one and xbox one x did, then I'll probably get it over a PC. Also depends on how much better PC looks over the consoles. This gen, games like destiny look miles better on PC. If the difference is that big again, then I'll be leaning toward PC.

I wouldn't consider getting one until a few years after release and a lot could change. ATM I would consider switching to PS5 since that has a bigger following usually and that's better for MP gaming. Though I do have quite a library of the free xbox games I got through live gold, so it's likely I would stick with the xbox brand.
