Crash Bandicoot remasters not PS4 exclusive, coming to XBOX

PS4 exclusive list posters will need to stop listing this, in addition to Killing Floor 2. Both coming to Xbox, should both look better on 1X. Anyone with both, cancel your PS4 preorders, superior 1X version likely out by December.

Whelp somebody at activision must be pissed this leaked too early lmao. Now they are gonna lose some sony die hard nostalgic fans. They just needed to wait a bit longer lol. Watch now that 30fps and 1440p pro support is going to be use as an excuse to hate the game.

While I usually prefer to play games on my Xbox One over my PS4, this one will be an exception. Crash Bandicoot was born on Playstation and is synonymous with Playstation therefore it just wouldn't feel right to play it on a non-Playstation console over a Playstation console. It would be like playing Mario on the PS4 instead of a Nintendo console. It's just wrong!

Well it isn't exactly confirmed 100% yet. Still it's great news since more people get to play.

This was already known that N, Sane Trilogy was coming to other systems and so with that, glad to see everyone will play the game not just one console.

Hopefully it comes to the Switch, as I'd love to play Crash on the Go!

We also know that Sony doesn't see Nintendo as a competitor or a threat. The box clearly says, "Console Exclsuive" I think the game will come. It might be a year from now, but I'm confident it'll happen. Unfortunately, even if it does, I'll have already on PS4, beaten it and moved on to other stuff.

Not trying to hate or question anything, just curious what games you like besides racing.

Good news for fans who don't have PS4s. IMO, the writing was on the wall when it was suspiciously revealed without "only on playstation" branding.

The first 3 were great, the rest were meh, far from being the best platformers of all time.

Naughty Dog developed the first four games in the series with Sony publishing the first five. Then a new developer and published took over. Eventually Vivendi was the publisher, who also owned Blizzard, but then merged with Activision in 2007. That's how Activision acquired the rights. Explains why it's multiplat.

That's like saying it wouldn't feel right to play Call of Duty on consoles because it started as a PC franchise.... Doesn't mean anything.

And I've played Mario on my PC, phone, and even my freaking TI-84 for god's sake. Nothing wrong with it.

The games are garbage though. After the review embargo lifts people will realize they don't want this crap. Crash was cool until you played Mario 64, or the other Playstation games followed. Naughty Dog on Xbox is hilarious though.

Was alwas interested in trying out Crash 2 again after god knows how many years since playing it, as well as seeing what Crash 1 and 3 were like.

Would be cool to see the remastered trilogy make it to the Xbox One.

I thought that this was already confirmed. Anyway while I did enjoy the games back in the day I just don't think that I'm all that interested in going back to them these days. Plus I have too many other games that I want to get first anyway. I'll most likely pass on this.

I enjoyed playing these on the Playstation back in the day, not interested at all despite it coming to the Xbox. Although, I do enjoy more games branching out to different platforms, a win for gamers and a loss for the hardcore cows...lol

They could appear on non-Playstation consoles for 50 years and that doesn't change the fact that Crash Bandicoot was originally Sony's mascot and therefore it will always feel a little weird to me to play it on a competitor's console. Hell, it still feels a little weird to me to play Sonic on a Nintendo console and I would definitely prefer to play Sonic games on a Sega console if Sega still made consoles.

Crash Bandicoot did more than just start as a Playstation franchise; it was the mascot of the Playstation brand for many years. The franchise may have since appeared on other platforms, but it will always be as synonymous with Playstation as Mario is with Nintendo, as Sonic is with Sega, and as Master Chief is with Xbox in my eyes.

If you are ok with playing Mario on a PC, phone, or calculator... to each their own, but the experience is not the same and I can't enjoy that. I like playing Mario games the way they were meant to be played on the original hardware that they were designed for. I greatly value getting the authentic experience from my games.

Well no actual exclusivity was ever officially put out there, so that this was going to happen seemed to me like more of a vague abstraction that it was possible, but this retailer page going up and hinting that it's only a 6 month timed exclusive is the new info.

As someone who never had a Playstation and never played these games, this is like a new, visually appealing iconic platformer releasing as they look fun and I think they did a great job on the remastering and I heard they tweaked the mechanics a bit and improved saving, etc to better modernize it, and you get 3 games for a budget price point.

Having this and Super Lucky's Tale upcoming on Xbox is a great platformer lineup.

Everything except for puzzle games, music games, walking simulators, first person shooters.

So yes I do like platformers, just not every one of them. I played Crash 1 & 2 on the PS1 and didn't like them, gimme Sonic all day every day and twice on Sundays lol.

@raugutcon: lol why would cows care? This coming month alone there are like 5 exclusive third party games coming to PS4 and not to X1. It's a massacre at this point so 1 game more or less makes little difference. Besides this was already kind of expected.

Release it on PC and I might give it a shot.

Crash went multiplatform long time ago.

I feel the same. I have Crash Bandicoot in my mind as a synonym to Playstation brand i had so much fun with. But so i had before for games like Tekken.

All in all it doesnt really matter in this era. It matters ( or not ) only to people like us that used to play back then and we were fans of both game and PS1. So it doesnt matter , this is 2017 and not mid 90s. Like Tekken and other titles that used to be under Ps umbrella find their way to other systems already. Thats not bad at all imho. Crash is a cool , 20 years old franchise that everyone should play and i have zero problems if that is Switch or X1 or PC. Only die hard cows will have and even that i doubt it and thats because there was a misconception that this trilogy will be PS4 exclusive.

IF the game gets an X1 release i wont be surprised if it finds its way to PC on some point. Why not !

Okay, first of all, the source is horrible. An article claims some random website that sells games has the game listed. If you follow the link, you get to the PS4 version? So what? That doesn't prove anything at all.

That aside, I actually hope it goes multiplat and I would love to get a PC version to play it with mods in 4k at 60fps :D
