Hmm, I expected a low AA from this game and I didn't even like the demo. Oh well, guess it's about time lemmings get a flop (haven't had one for a while)
I admit my ownage. I guessed 8.4 (hyped it AA) and was owned. I'll still enjoy it (still not sure if I'm buying or renting) even though I worry it could get old quick.
The only "ownage," such a contrive word made up by insecure fanboys, going on here is the people who are going to skip the game because it's on a platform they despise or because Jeff lowballed yet another game's rating. Let the demo speak for itself, not Jeff's lacking review.

Gears of War's 9.6 says hello. Actually, Rainbow 6: Vegas, Gears of War, Oblivion, Perfect Dark Zero, G.R.A.W. all say hello. That's not even counting some of the better AA games as well as some new exclusives coming up. The only reason "lemmings," or Xbox fans as they should be called instead of some childish moronic name made up by a bunch of depraved idiots, hyped this game was because of the excellent demo that came out. But if you can tell how a game is going to be by looking at the screenshots rather than playing the game, you'd fit in well with the likes of Jeff and some other reviewers.
really, i am surprised at the dignity and grace with which lemmings are handling this...no flaming, no claims of "bias," and no account suicide posts...in fact, i see a fair number of lemmings coming on here and accepting ownage all on their own for hyping the game AA or above

Wasn't hyped AAA, but still a flop. Though, I give credit to the Lems for not going ballistic like the Cows were from Resistance. "But teh biased!" "MS pays off GS!". But of course, the Cows wanna jump all over this score because it went their way. But if somehow VF5 flopped next week, they'll go ahead and do a 180, and be back to their "GS is bias" theory.

To be perfectly honest, though, I doubt anyone really cares about Crackdown. I want to see this level of maturity when Halo 3 flops. I care about Crackdown. It's the most fun I've had on my Xbox 360 in quite a while. It's easily AAA in my eyes. And I highly doubt Halo 3 will flop. It'll set sales records and be the most played game on LIVE for a long time, just like its predecessor.
This is why we should base decisions on our own thoughts and not those of people who have to play games for a living. I dont trust game reviewers they get to detail obsessed. A game is meant to be fun and thats what Crackdown is Halo 3 Beta or not. Get over it cows, you are trying to scrape every last bit of desperation from the barrel on this one.

You just listed a bunch of overrated games that get boring in 4 days. Hell, I bear Gears of War in 1 and the MP is so one-track it got boring in 2. And PC does those titles better too.
I always take IGN and Gamespot and average the score which is a 79%, so an A title.
Played the demo for a bit, wasn't too impressed, won't be getting the game.Â
As for some of the cows, I won't bring Sonic (42%) or Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire (34.5%) into the arguement. I believe from the limited titles out on the PS3, they have some of the worst games in console gaming history.
Actually you could add both Sonic and Gundam together, and they don't even surpass Crackdown score. Hahahahaha!!! PS3 OWN3D!!!
