When Crackdown 3 was shown off at Gamescon 2015, the game seemed to showcase a relatively detailed and layered destruction model as shown in this multiplayer demo:
Fast forward to 2019 and Crackdown 3 is days away from launch. We are now shown final build gameplay which looks shockingly bad when compared to present standards. Have a look:
What happened in the last few years? Is cloud compute complete BS? Do these physics and destruction effects look like "the power of 12 Xbox One consoles"? Maybe it's fun and it just needs to be experienced first hand, because fun factor >>>> graphics. What do you guys think?
