I expected that. Seems like they re-packaged a three year old game, but with a few new toys.

I expected this score after i played the demo, and my interest in the game plummeted to the levels of meh.

Yessir, another day, another flop. Probably not going to pick this up as I still have way too many other games to play. I am still stuck on the 2009 batch as it is :(

called it. anyway i'm still going to get it a some point, prolly when it hits the $20-$30 range. loved leveling up in the first one and the co-op will be fun.

Not suprised it flopped, the demo said it all imo.

Indeed, sir. Hell, I actually enjoyed the first one back in 2007, but the demo for C2 actually seemed worse overall to me. It felt like someone was cramming a loaf of 3 year old stale bread down my throat and there was not a glass of water to be found. It is pretty much the exact same concept, but with an incredibly dull and uninspired design.

Overall, I just think the concept feels more dated and regurgitated than I was expecting and there is where the turn off for me is. I don't even think I could go back and play the first one. Just not an ounce of anything intriguing to be found in Crackdown for me anymore. Still, I am sure many of the die-hards from the frist one will dig this game, and that is fine. It is just not my cup of tea.

8/10 from EG is a very good score. will pick up when cheap

Aside from the poor graphics, the game still looks fun. I will still play it. The co-op looks sweet.

I think GS has been on the harsher side of reviews this year - it's been a year of flops on the HD consoles.

White Flop Chronicles. Bioflop 2. Floppy Rain. Alan Flop. Splinter Flop: Confloption. Final Floptasy XIII. And now Flopdown 2.

The Wii has been exceeding expectations this year though.

This game has always looked bad.

8.0-8.5 = AA (AAE)

9.0-9.5 = AAA (AAAE)

10 = AAAA (AAAAE)
