So yeah CS:GO will now be free to play and Valve added a Battle Royale Mode called Danger Zone. However the map for this mode will not be massive like the other Battle Royal games and will only have 16 players at a time or 18 if you play in a team of ether two or three.

I see it's barraged with negative reviews, no surprise.

Nothing in the core game has changed. It's literally had added optional content.

Yeah I notice that too. The most complaints that people are having are the ones who bought the game recently and now that the game became free to play, they feel that they got ripped off. It doesn't bother me since I got the game 6 years ago but I can understand the people who bought CS:GO recently only to find out that it would become free to play. My biggest worry is that now that the game is free to play, I really hope that the game doesn't attract a lot of cheaters and idiots.

What did they change? Something egregious?

Regardless, it's Counterstrike, they'd throw a baby fit either way.

I could've bought it for 3 euro and it was still too expensive for me.

Won't play it for free either.

I'll wait until Valve starts making real games again, instead of marketplaces disguised as games.

Neat, haven’t played much cs:go the last Copple of years, but a more focused/smaller battle royal mode sounds fun, so might give it a whirl!

So does this mean people are going to play the real game on a community server and not in shit match making lobby's where it's only 5v5 and mostly 12 year olds?

If not, might as well continue to play Source.

Casual matchmaking primarily attracts 12 year olds. That's all they know these days. Matchmaking, Surf, and Trouble in R***** Town.

I rather play on a server running the regular game(Not surf and Trouble in Dumbass town) with like 20-32 people, ran by a human nerd with at least a life, a job, maybe a GF, maybe a wife, etc. You know, someone who is a fully developed homosapien who has respect in the world.

A middle schooler wearing a Fortnite(birth control shirt) t-shirt doesn't.....well. I shouldn't have to explain.

Never played a CS in my life, and I still have no interest. Looks incredibly boring to me. While my friends were playing CS non stop, I played UT and Quake.

I thought you were about to say you only play SP games or maybe say Call of Duty or Battlefield is fun because they look cool.

Nah, for my MP fix, it was UT and Quake back in the CS 1.6 days. Later I was also into Team Fortress 2.

Battlefield up to 2142 was an awesome series that I played as well though, now that you mention it.

Your soul is clean. When I said Battlefield and Call of Duty I meant everything after Battlefield 2142 and World at War.

Bad Company is a console game but a decent game.

@Jebus213: Lol, glad to hear.

I agree, WaW was the last ok CoD game, and Bad Company was pretty fun as well.

its not like original COD was some kind of deep and complex game. it was also very scripted and short game with on rail segment.

@ghosts4ever:

Not as scripted and on rails as today's movi..... Cod.

Did I say the original cod is deep and complex? No... Am I compaining about games not being deep and complex? No...

Also the original CoD has multiplayer which you did not mention. Dedicated server, a community that wasn't stupid, 64 players, and server side mods.

Edit: do u no how 2 reed? Aparantlee knot.
