Could you see Android being an additional OS on the Switch?

The question here do you think Nintendo could create a device (future Switch or beyond) with a dual boot option or a virtual Android OS app? The reason for this question is there is no way Apple would do it. Google Play Store has the apps that the Nintendo Eshop seems not to be able to get. Plus it would allow Nintendo device owners to access the mobile apps on the same device. Is this impossible to imagine or would Nintendo never do it?

The Switch is just an ARM tablet with funky joycon connectors.

As such it is already possible to put Android OS on it, just not officially sanctioned by Nintendo. Though I have a feeling the homebrew scene will provide a better experience than an official Nintendo solution.....

Nintendo wouldn't do it. Android has developer support for homebrew, something Nintendo wants very far away from any of their consoles for piracy reasons. Even of they removed it, it would be a lot easier to mod it to make it possible.

Don't know why but I thought the Switch's OS was a variation (proprietary) of Android.
