better than one, but can we get 4?BrunoBRSYou could theoretically use 3DS + CPP as a controller because it would have the same number of buttons as a Wii U tablet controller.
Miyamoto said it was possible and with the Circle Pad Pro it will technically have every single button the Wii U Tablet has so if you have a 3DS and a Wii U you could use your 3DS as a controller.

This was when you could only use 1 Wii U Tablet controller and Miyamoto said maybe you could use the 3DS as a 2nd controller.

the problem isn't the buttons, the problem is the second screen and the touch capabilities. unless a game makes no use of either (which would be pretty lame and make the tablet part of it rather pointless), 4 player local multiplayer on equal ground is impossible.I think nintendo should focus on online capability rather than controlershippiesantaThey are wait until E3. But Nintendo did say somethings on it like they are ditching friendcodes and going with individual usernames; Also now you can have more then one account per system.

Why would they focus on online? thats not what sells systems what sells is the controller. Wii u pad is awesome!
The thought of local multi-player where each player get's thieir own screen sounds fun. I mean, you can do it with handhelds, but it's no quite the same.
Imagine a simple tank battle game where each player controls their tracks with the analog sticks (like katamari) and moves their turret with the motion controls, using the screen as their view finder.
better than one, but can we get 4?BrunoBRSEach pad with screen means extra frames to render for a game (same issue as stereo 3D tech has, but less since pad screen does not have same resolution as your TV) and surly it take more BT (or whatever it use) bandwidth for video streaming then normal controller . That screen is quite resource costly thing in every aspect.

I dont get why people are saying "WOOHOO 2 PADS THAT'S AMAZING!"2 pads is sh*t, you should be complaining, not applauding them.
So what happens with games like smash bros or mario kart? only 2 players?lightleggy
Simple. Use classic controllers.
So haters have nothing to complain about anymore.Wonder what they'll target next?Zeviander
The graphics, of course. :P
"But teh graphics are very similar to teh PS3 & 360!".
