EDIT: What's weird is that telling somebody one version is 1080p and the other is 720p makes them see differences that are not there. Review sites fell for it, plenty of people here fell for it, plenty on that other forum fell for it. It was 720p vs 720p. You're all nuts.

Yes it is Activision confirmed it.

No it comes straight from Activision and was even printed on the game case 1080p after a patch.

Online the game is 1080p offline is 720p the comparison Polygon did was based online and they deny any difference when there was..

Once again that proves the xbox one is stronger than 2 titans in SLI because even the PC version has frames problems.

You people are trying to hard anything is been blow 1000 times out of proportion fact is the xbox one version is 720p for life the PS4 version 1080p on launch period.

Haven't done reviewers stated the Xbox one version has less slowdowns than the ps4 version? Being that both were actually at 720p I wonder if the game being patched to 1080p will cause even more slowdown.

The problem is that Infinity Ward missed a configuration BUG that left them locked. So when the game was being played and reviewed over the last week, everyone THOUGHT they were playing it in native 1080p on the PS4 but it was only 720p upscaled.

That's why it looked the same, if not worse than the XB1 version - the PS4 version wasn't allowed to use the PS4's full hardware set. It was locked to 720p mode by a bug.

The patch unlocks the 1080p textures for the PS4 - so all those reviews/comparisons need to be done all over again with the REAL 1080p native textures on the PS4 running.

Texture's resolution can be independent from the render resolution e.g. Metro 2033 Xbox 360 version has 1024x1024 texture resolution with 720p render resolution.

This is pathetic. IGN said the difference is clear, the image is sharper because 1080p. Wth is wrong with these journalists?

they seeem to enjoy that colorblind mode as well without noticing it
