Sorry are you honestly saying that 15 minute video looks in the least bit fun. I thought this game was alot better... but I watched the video you linked to and WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW it looked terribly boring, slow, and just generally not fun at all.

edit - also how does the main character snake? I think thats his name, manage to hunch over like that for so long without throwing out his back? I mean he looks a good 60 years old at least. I'd say like 65. Maybe ihe should and theres like a minigame where you have to crack your back and rest it for several hours while hiding in the corner somewhere. That would add even more FUN to this game wouldn't it?

Spore hmmmmmm that was a pretty entertaining vid but that was mainly because of robbin williams + all it showed was how you can make your own creature but what can you do with it.... show me a vid of that.

Until then MGS4 is better. Also actually watch the vid...

Please don't get me wrong, though: The gameplay looks very good, but saying it's going to be the GOTY for 2008 without actually playing it is pretty foolish.

And this trailer is pretty old. Then again, it's the best representation of MGS4's gameplay.

I don't think I'm going to get any of the games mentioned on this thread... except possibly Spore, if my dated PC can run it.

But yeah.. MGS4 looked the most impressive hands down. I'm just not into espionage or shooter games, otherwise I'd pick it up for sure.

That Ninja Gaiden game looked pretty terrible. Mash buttons.. see blood fly everywhere. Got it.

Well to all the people that are saying "OMG you call it GOTY when its not even out yet" post a GAMEPLAY vid of a game that IS out yet that has better gameplay than that...

Anyway so far we have:

Spore

NG2

and Alone in the dark.

I would personally add the new bourne game to that because i watched thetrailer and that looks pretty sweet HOWEVER..

It is a game based upon a movie and you know how 99.999999999% of thoes games turn out....

I am going to say however my vid of MGS4 is better than all thoes games.

NG2 is basically just a fighting game, which is cool but well there is not much else to it.

Spore well the character creation is cool but then i am assuming it is like sim earth or something...?? What else can you do..?

Alone in the dark well i am VERY excited for that game however:

1. It is made by ATARI. HMMMMMMMMMMM

2. It comes out on ALL platforms. HHHMMMMMMMM

3. Becides the enviorment shat and how you can make use of things (that is very cool imo) we havent really seen any combat or anything.

So yeah. Alone in the dark does look pretty sweet but well ATARI HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
