I just watched the trailer for the new Netflix Witcher and it actually looks pretty good! I figured they'd butcher it, but that doesn't seem the case. Definitely going to check it out when it releases.

Yes! Always nice to see someone who isn't blinded by childhood nostalgia and can see Man of Steel for the damn good movie that it is.

The best part of Man Of Steel is when he demonstrates his power by ripping our technology from the sky and threatening the military not to **** with him, to which a girl giggles and goes "he's hot".

Turns out he's a gamer and I would bet he has played Witcher. I thought it was funny to find out Henry Cavill also plays Overwatch and mains Symmetra.

Superman 2's great, the part when he crushes Zods hand and the da-dadada-dadada music plays rather than screaming AHHHHHHH FUUUUUU and snaps his kneck to stop people being murdered, even though, they've liked, killed thousands and it makes no sense.

@uninspiredcup: Don't get me wrong. I loved Superman 2. I was 5 when it came out and still remember seeing it with my mom. I'm just saying it had it's share of stupidity. The chest emblem scene being the worst. In Superman 4 he rebuilt the Great Wall of China with his eye beams. The older movies liked to give Superman asinine powers that they made up themselves. I didn't care when I was a kid, but it's a little harder to look past now that I'm older.

@heathen75: True, but tonally Reeves movies are somewhat camp and lighter, it has some leeway in this regard.

I mean watching Superman put the statue of liberty back is something i'd actively want from a Superman movie.

Bad Superman was the best part of Superman 3. Slovenly Superman sitting at the bar flicking peanuts through bottles of Jack. 8 year old Heathen was on the edge of his seat during the junkyard fight.
