Deep Down 1080p Trailer
It's PC. If it is rooted from MT Framework, which they said it was, it is PC.
Capcom developed their games for PC and then downported it to Xbox 360, PS3, 3DS, Vita, w/e everytime they used the MT Framework engine. This thing is running on PC. No use in developing a a full engine, even futher a tech demo, for a platform whos specs weren't finalized until now.

I'm very impressed by that demo, PC or not, if it IS real-time that is.It's PC. If it is rooted from MT Framework, which they said it was, it is PC.

You really think the game will look like that? Are we back in 05 but instead of KZ2 bs we get this? Open your eyes people this is not gameplay lol i know you're blinded by dat 8gb of DDR5 but come da fk one now its like saying Dark Souls 2 trailer is gameplay because you see a dude walking rofl. Brain, use that.silversix_Maybe not on PS4, but on PC yea, it's more than possible.

Name me one game that is even close to being that smooth in about EVERYTHING (physics, animation, graphics) and don't tell me crysis 3/TW2 because i played both and they're FAR from deep down quality.

Even though there isn't a single game that doesn't compete with Deep Down graphically, But that doesn't prove this isn't real time, I think Modern GPUs are more than capable of producing high level graphics, Just look at the AMD's Leo Tech Demo, Pixar Movies look like sh1t in front of it.[QUOTE="FPSfan1985"][QUOTE="silversix_"]You really think the game will look like that? Yeah, the video might have been rendered on PS4 like hardware but I got the impression that that wasn't realtime and they threw on a HUD to give the impression that it was gameplay. They're playing Gearbox's game guys, beware, those aren't ingame graphics or animations despite the inclusion of a HUD.

Now im seeing it in 1080p ... im far less impressed. The visuals barely look better then last gen in places. The animations and physics obviously set it apart though, especially all running at a smooth framerate.
Â
However ... a mid range PC could do the same.

How exactly do you expect this kind of detail in open fields? Don't think this kind of graphics will be possible for at least another 4-5 years.[QUOTE="FPSfan1985"] Maybe not on PS4, but on PC yea, it's more than possible.faizan_faizan
I'm very impressed by that demo, PC or not, if it IS real-time that is. After playing crysis 3 on pc I don't see why that couldn't be done in real-time especially consdering the small scale of what they showed which will give them alot more performance to work with. The small gifs people have in there sig made it look more impressive then it is running at full sized 1080p still looks very nice though.[QUOTE="ShadowDeathX"]

Judging by the title, Deep Down will be entirely indoors, something in the veins of Arx Fatalis.[QUOTE="faizan_faizan"][QUOTE="silversix_"]Yeah? [QUOTE="ShadowDeathX"]Its using their new Panta Rhei engine they developed for PS4 its not a ps4 engine a multiplatform engine and PC is the Lead platform just like MT Framework was, and i won't put my hopes so high on this graphics..capcoms always deliver great graphics but quite far from their target renders...i remember how amazing RE5 trailer was and the final game had a huge downgraded. It's PC. If it is rooted from MT Framework, which they said it was, it is PC.

The only reason people don't believe it is because hermits actually think games like Crysis 3 are "next gen" even thought they are built for PS360.
Now we have games built for more powerful hardware from the ground up.Â
Â
Basically, yes. What people fail to understand is that things like Crysis 3 are up-scaled for their PC, they aren't actually what their PC is CAPABLE of. Being that the PS4 basically IS a PC, there is more head room to up-scale even more to more powerful PCs.The only reason people don't believe it is because hermits actually think games like Crysis 3 are "next gen" even thought they are built for PS360.
Now we have games built for more powerful hardware from the ground up.Â

Exactly, Â they don't realize the PC hardware they have isn't even being fully utilized or optimized. They fail to realize PC devs isn't going make the graphics as good as they could because it's not profitable with PCs high end user base, Â thus the games are built around consoles. This is why console games look better than PC games early in the generation, Â the graphics jump becomes profitable. People need to realize this is what next gen is supposed to look like.Â

fixed :P
Looks great, now lets see a game made that plays like it, on PC or PS4. Heil68
off topic.
concerning your sig.
I think the new controller looks fantastic... but WHY OH WHY!? did they not go for a slight concave on the triggers?

the PS4 controller is not finalized yet..they just might change it[QUOTE="S-Jenson"]If the name gives any clues its that the game is a dungeon crawler, with small enclosed areas i see no reason why these visuals cant be achieved, especially with the kind of power the ps4 offers.. it may even look better, just look at the killzone target for ps3 vs killzone 2, killzone 2 actually ended up looking noticeably better in most aspects.xboxiphoneps3Of course graphics will look even better by launch. Deep Down was running on dev kits with 4gb of ram, underclocked Jaguar cores at 1.6 ghz(retail PS4 is rumored to be clocked at 2.0 ghz) and the non unified memory archtecture on the current dev kits. That along with optimizations and the graphics/ game titles shown at the PS4 unveiling will look even better come launch time Stop with the 2ghz that isn't even a rumor is made up crap..VGLEAKS would've posted it by now.
