Not even close. She’s like the 8th Valkyrie you fight and they’re all pretty much the same with small variations. Just throw your axe whenever it’s possible and it’s an easy fight.
She’s also way harder in NG+.
I also don’t buy that you defeated Orphan of Kos on your first attempt.
Never ever say, "Can we all agree" cause that line is total BS.
Took me 2 days to beat her in the end, I just used my Blades of Chaos on her and the talisman of the realms to wail on her with Fire of Ares and Nemean Crush. Both seemed to do her a lot of damage, managed to beat her with a sliver of health remaining. Even on Give Me a Story with a maxed set of Valkyrie Armor, she's still super tough from what I heard when you play that setting. Besides all the recommendations of armor and skills, ultimately, you need patience to beat Sigrun and if you rush at her like batshit out of hell, you'll get destroyed lol.
I had to go into YouTube and see how others have defeated Sigrun. I can agree she's tougher and I can see why Santa Monica didn't want to include Sigrun as the final boss in the main story-line.
Lol, no. Not even close.
Somebody has never battled Demon in Pain/Demon from Below/Demon Prince in DS3...
I still get shivers. **shudders**

Orphan of kos on NG is easy. Go with Ludwig Heavyblade + 9 (Not Holy) and doubleweild it and stay close.Take damage, heal.Fight on water. All the phases. On Phase 2 jump evade and roll from Lightning strikes.

Will go with yours runic attacks this time. Lets see.
@sakaixx: @davillain-: You guys struggled that much? She’s like all the other Valkyries except she has all of their moved. After beating several of them I’m not sure why you found her so difficult.
Granted I did it a long time ago so I don’t remember what gear I used exactly. I know I used the talisman that slows time.

Bruh, this reeks of watching youtube guides.

Yup. Watched Video of how to cheese Orphan before attempting him lol.
@Juub1990: I did, most probably was because my stats was terrible against her, only then I grinded a bit and looked for those mist gear and then I went back. Personally its not an easy battle if I had to grind a lot just to prepare to fight instead of just using my skill and gitgud like I does in souls like games.
@Litchie: Completed it.Hard than any Soulsborne ? yes.Any Sekiro boss harder than Sigrun for me? No.

Yeah, I too found out the hard way when I step into her shoes as well. Grinding for mist gears was the last thing on my mind and not what I expect for a God of War. I don't know why Juub is thinking this was easy but battling Sigrun was NOT easy at all. It requires patience but my main issue with her is, she never says: Valhalla, the part were she leads into the air and stumps you to death is the real danger, so unpredictable and causes massive damage.

I think it was easy because she was like the 8th Valkyrie you fought. Their moveset was 80% the same. Her gimmick was mainly that she had all the special moves from the other ones but by the time you fought her you were also used to all these moves. Wasn't anything new really. Unless you played in NG+ where she has that bullshit blinding attack and can one-shot you with half of her moves.
Nop. I did struggle with her but after figuring out all the patterns she was easy. Bosses from the darks souls 3 dlc was harder.
@carljohnsoncj: No that’s some terrible advice. He’s extremely dangerous at medium and close range so dual wielding and taking hits and healing within the range of his attacks is tantamount to suicide. Then in his second stage he becomes extremely aggressive and gives very little time to recover or heal.

All i did was stay close on that SOB. No Bullets. Just lock on and R2. You get ample time to heal when you are backfacing him. I had more harder time with Maria lol.

Now that you've mentioned it i'm not engaging Siggy on NG +
Amigdala in chalice dungeon is way harder.
Oh man. I don't want to remember that anymore.
@carljohnsoncj: Doesn't even come close to the true evil that is Dr. Kahl's Robot on Cuphead. Now that's a challenge.
Lol at thinking any boss in God Of War is difficult. Regular mobs in Sekiro have larger movesets than the bosses in God Of War. God Of War fanboys are exceptional.
I had the hardest time fighting her and just could not win after days of trying. I would just get frustrated and give up and try a different day. It was all I needed for the plat trophy. Then my brother came into town, he hadn't played the game yet but beat her after several tries in an hour. I was humiliated to say the least and he rubbed it in the entire visit. :)
