Bungie's new game = MMOFPS called 'Destiny'?

Looking like Bungie's new game may be an MMOFPS. Something like WOW in space. Don't know about you guys, but I sure as hell am not interested. Apologies if old.

That's cool. Normally, I would be as well. I am just not into buying games that I have to pay a monthly fee for in order to play them. Kind of a big turn off for me, regardless of quality.

I have no problem with Bungie, I love them. I just have no interest in an MMO that I have to pay a monthly fee to play after buying it. Don't misunderstand me here.

Put it this way, it is being published by Activision. I would be willing to bet my bank account on it.;) However, in the event that it is not a fee based game, then I will likely be all over it. Again, not betting on it, though. We shall see.

i like MMOs, and i like halo..... but for some reason the idea of a mmofps never seemed very appealing.

Then again if anyone could put it together it would be bungie and activision.

Maybe interested, after all Planetside is the only MMO I have actually owned. But I don't like subscription fees so I'm not very convinced. I'm better with Battlefield games.

Sounds cool, need a lot more info on the game before i have any opinion for it tho. Hope it is free to play.

Just admit it, you're interested in this game and will most likely end up purchasing it. :)

This will be very amusing.

MMOs are awesome, the best genre IMO, nothing beats playing with hundreds/thousands of people; that and most of my gamer friends are big MMO fans, so I always have RL friends to play with.

Oh it's the work in progress new Blizzard MMO. Is it supposed to be also a MMOFPS? If so it will be interesting having three MMOFPS competing.

Blizzard and Bungie both rumoured to be working on an MMO FPS? Bungie working in conjunction with Activision..... that being Activision Blizzard. Ahah. If this is true, hooboy it will be interesting. Anyway Planetside Next is out this year - It's going to take quite a game to best it. skrat_01

Agreed, Planetside Next might be the "next" big thing. The original was groundbreakingly awesome.

Sorry, I was not aware that I had to lay out the fine details of exactly why I was posting and go to great lengths to explain myself. I was merely posting what I thought was a big news story. For the record, I have been waiting with great interest to see what Bungie had in store for us next, but I simply am not interested in an MMO and hope that this is not true. That is all.

Probably not interested. After Killzone 3, Rage, Crysis 2, and Resistance 3, I'll have more than enough FPS to last me a long time
