You do realize those games are both from the same publisher, right?
I bought GTA4 on consoles, then I later bought the vastly superior PC "port". I won't buy further games unless they release it on the PC so it can be properly played.
Even if you are too poor to afford a gaming PC, if you love these games so much, you should hope that rockstar will release them on a platform with the horsepower to run them and the control inputs to properly manage them.
So now you have to be poor to prefer consoles? You might want to rethink that. I could say you just have to be a huge nerd to be invested enough in gaming to build a PC. Both are poor stereotypes.
High scoring games more often from all system make it to PC than consoles (which is why we have more sales too). If you don't believe me, I can link MC/GS data.
In other words, you are more likely to miss out on a great or above scoring title on a console than PC. By far.

RDR was an exceptional game and i certainly enjoyed it more than GTA 4 or GTA 5. releasing it on PC wouldn't have magically made the game go from one of the best of last gen to THE best. If you haven't played it, you've missed one of the greatest games in the last 10 years, even the multiplayer was great.

i have played RDR. for console point of view its easily one of the best.
however by PC standard game is decent at best. nothing speacial. it has regen health and cover sytem. 2 of worst mechanic in gaming today. i still recommend it to everyone who own console. but i dont think you are missing anything.
