Bunch of new PS5 Hands-on vids from Japan (Gematsu)

Send it to DF instead some cringy Japanese youtuber that hasn't played anything outside Angry Birds on his/her phone. Are they scared of sending it to those who would be able to do actual analysis of the system?

I just heard the confirm button will be "X" in Japan instead of the traditional "O". Can be quite a megaton for japanese and asians.

@hardwenzen: Well I don't know how underpowered it is.. but they used a 2060 to compare the PS5 GPU, I think PS5 can do better than that but we have to wait and see.

I just had a quick look at that HikakinGames channel, and the only "mobile" games I see are Fortnite and Minecraft. Along with a bunch of Nintendo games. Not much different to what you see from Western streamers. As for the girl chachacha, her channel mainly looks like it's full of MMO games. Not sure if those are mobile or console games.

Either way, these Japanese YouTubers have millions of followers. Sony probably thought it's a good way to promote the PS5 in Japan. And let's face it, the PS4 struggled in Japan, so having big Japanese YouTubers promote the PS5 could help it quite a lot in Japan.

ps4 is not struggling in japan. yes its not number one but its not struggling.

its targeting the same amount of ps3 sold in japan.

nin is japan console but the ps4 is still selling the same amount as last gen.

you do realize they use the mouse to create games on dev kits. they don't use the controller to make there games lol.

Both the PS3 and PS4 have under-performed in Japan, compared to Nintendo's Wii and Switch, and compared to Sony's previous PS1 and PS2. Though that's largely because the console market in Japan has shrunk over the years.

Two things

1. That image was from the Sony PS5 showcase the other day so there should have been no pointer on the screen while he was playing

2. I read further into the twitter thread and someone pointed out that it was probably there because the YouTuber accidentally left it there when he was editing his video. When I read that, it seemed plausible so I deleted my post (within 30 seconds of posting it so you are quick in replying :D )

ok that makes sense lol. just thought that you thought they used the ps5 controller to do there work. lol that would suck if developers had to use the controller as there mouse when making there games lol.
