Breath of the Wild 2, Horizon Zero Dawn 2, or Elder Scrolls 6 - which one are you most hyped for at this moment?

Probably HZD2. I have very little hope that TES6 will be something other than a further downslide from that Skyrim took, and BotW - while much better than HZD in some very selective ways - left me really disappointed in the weak and repetitive storytelling and the actual combat mechanics (the outstanding physics system and creativity it afforded aside).

Elder Scrolls 6 overall but Horizon for the story and lore.

Tough choice for me between BOTW2 and Forbidden West. TES6 is way too far away to matter right now.

BOTW2 is particularly interesting because it's a direct follow-up to a mainline Zelda game. The last two times Nintendo did this, we got Majora's Mask and Link's Awakening, which had some very cool ideas.

On the other hand, I just love Horizon Zero Dawn at a personal, visceral level. It's like Guerilla Games took a big list of everything I find personally really appealing and just smashed them together into a single game. As such, I find it very difficult to be objective about HZD and its sequel.

Difficult, but not impossible. Therefore I give the edge to BOTW2.

Elder scrolls 6 hands down.

Definitely Breath of the Wild 2 for me followed by Elder Scrolls VI. Looking forward to playing Horizon Zero Dawn 2 as. I still need to play the first one but they certainly look like games that I’ll enjoy.

1. BOTW2 - The first was better than HZD and Skyrim, so BOTW2 should be better than HZD2 and TES6.

2. TES6 - Will probably be a garbage game like Skyrim, but the PC modding community should have a field day with it.

3. HZD2 - Will probably a better game than TES6, but as a PS5 game it won't have an answer for the TES6 PC mods.

I'd vote for BoTW2 if i knew its coming on a system that isn't stuck in 2007. Zero interest in Horizon, a game that might as well be made by Ubisoft. Skyrim was shallow asf, but with mods and possibly better writing (now that daddy MS is in charge), it has a chance of being a good game. ES6 would be my pick, but none of these games have a chance against the real deal. E L D E N R I N G

ES6 if they just make a prettier Skyrim with deeper physics might be up there.

The first Horizon was kind of just ok, so I have no great hopes. Sony's open worlds are super shallow and unless they change their general design philosophy I don't expect much from them. Would love to be proven wrong.

HZD was fun. The main pull was the story though. I'm not sure how I feel about a sequel. I don't think they can capture the same sense of wonder and discovery that drove me to complete HZD.

BotW sequel. Wish they'd give it a name already.

So many ways to improve on an already great formula, hope Nintendo knocks it out.

BOTW2 will be by far the best game methinks, but I can't help but wonder what Bethesda can do with new hardware. They skipped an entire gen for single-player TES.

haven't played the fist Breath of the Wild and don't own a switch, but I'd guess BoTW2 will the best out of the 3.

HZD didn't do anything for me, so not excited for the sequel.

ES6 i'm interested in but we having nothing to go on and Bethesda Studios have not made a great game in a very long time IMO.

Never really enjoy Bathesda games much

Interested only on the sequel for Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Why called it by its unoffical name: Breath of the Wild 2?). Having played and completed Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity weeks ago, I am interested whether the sequel will reflect events after Age of Calamity or not. The ending of Age of Calamity was not what I expected.

Indifferent towards the other two titles.

Idk I actually rather have TES6.

I do love both BoTW and Horizon but both have obvious weakness that I am not fond off like both BoTW and Horizon still has ubisoft towers to climb and BoTW weapon degradation sucks so much ass.

One thing I do love about Horizon is that combat and enemy encounter is 10x better than both TES and BoTW.

To bad Bethesdad followed the casuals, series went down hill after Morrowind. Damn, the modern generation ruined gaming. You filthy casuals.

I think you would like the weapon fusion feature in Age of Calamity. Your weapons never break (or eventually become unusable for the Master Sword); you fuse them with other weapons to make them stronger.

Would the feature be used in the Breath of the Wind sequel? Who knows!

A bit jaded now but I've had massive fun with Skyrim back when it was fairly new.

Not really much doubt BOTW2 will be the best of those.

But with modding probably play whatever shit Bethesda churns out more.

Looking forward to all 3. But in order

1) BOTW was great but it also had a lot of room to do more. just dev time and all that. so with no need to seriosuly upgrade the tech or assets it leaves a lot more time for the dev to tinker with and add more to the playground. i wonder if it's going to focus on rebuilding hyrule....get it back to its former glory. there was the town rebuilding subquest in BOTW (tarry town? i forget the name) which was neat but it's something they could expand on big time in BOTW2. Just please nintendo...PLEASE....don't do anything stupid like a repeating central dungeon like in phantom hourglass. but yeah looking forward to see what nintendo do with it.

2) Horizon: forbidden west. Zero dawn was a pleasant surprise and i had a lot of fun with it. It also has a lot of areas where the dev can improve.

3) ES:6. i love elder scrolls games in general. I do have issues with them in different ways since Morrowind but in the end i still enjoyed them and still put a lot of time into them. But bethesdas recent games and their more recent focus on games as a service (and FO4 didn't seem to go down well....my brother is a fallout nut but was very meh on 4)......it's not encouraging signs. i really hope they just deliver a great single player game set in a well developed world with interesting quests and content. hopefully they get back on form.

BOTW2 gets my vote. Nintendo was clearly more inspired creating BotW compared to their other games this gen. I'm interested in what the evolution of that game will be. Hopefully it recaptures the same feeling.

It's almost as if people would rather play something fun at 1080p than generic crap with prettier effects on higher end machines. What a bizarro world we live in where gamers actually choose fun above all else. I guess for consoles that lack fun, having pissing matches over hardware specs is the best you can do and why 90% of the threads on SW consist of that.

They certainly know what they are doing, and aren't using buzzwords and false advertisements to sell consoles based on hardware specs, but on solid IPs that people want. So I LMFAO when people say it's Nintendo that needs to be more like Sony and Xbox. On the contrary, I wish Xbox and Sony would take some of their better, classic IPs and follow Nintendo's lead and actually do something productive and fun with.

I am incredibly excited for the next Forza game 🤮
