BlazBlue: Continuum Shift = Best Fighter This Gen?

Nah, I'd put Tatsunoko VS Capcom over all of them :P

I like BlazBlue a lot, but King of Fighters XIII, Virtua Fighter 5, and Tatsunoko vs Capcom are just too amazing.

Great fighting game though, but the over the top generic anime designs piss me off.

Seriously though, SF4-BlazBlue-MVC3-TvC-------------Brawl.

Not crapping on Brawl or anything but its not really a fighting game in a traditional sense. I'd call it a competitive action party game. As soon as they start playing Smash at Evo I will call it a true fighting game.

Edit: Mortal Kombat should be in there somewhere as well, it was a true return to form.

For original release this gen (thus not counting GG, cause lets face it, it's still king) I would be inclined to say CS2 cakes the cake. Also as far as characters, there's actually some pretty decent ones in there even if quite a few are pretty anime. Hazama and Relius make for some really great villains. Also even the more generic characters have some depth to them, though you do have to dig a bit through the extra stuff released.Ace6301

The way I see it, there is no real superior fighting game (out of the good ones), there are only alternatives that are equally good. Every fighting game has something going for it that isn't in another game. Blazblue continuum shift 2 is my favorite fightiing game this gen, and smash bros. Melee is probably my favorite of all time. ... Seems I will have to start learning some guilty gear soon...

Actually Playing it right now.......on the Xbox 360. :(
