Bioshock Infinite - Why all the hate?

It's a shooter that doesn't know what it wants to excel at.

art design can only take you so far.

It was a damn fine game, not sure what all the complaints were about. Some nob who used to work for gamespot, think his name was Tom Shea gave the game a 4/10 or something very low, don't listen to him he was an idiot...

The shooting sucked, the story sucked and gave the middle finger to theories with alternate time lines, what they showed at E3 was nothing what we got and man I can not stress enough how crappy the story was.

Maybe I'm crazy, but the game around the gunfire was good enough for me to get over the poor shooting mechanics. I don't understand why the UC games get such high marks here when they have many of the same strengths and weaknesses that BI has.

They took everything that made Bioshock interesting and threw it away to give you a generic FPS. Call it something besides Bioshock and people would not have a problem with it as much.

I thought it was a great game. I still go back to it from time to time.

I guess I might be in the minority.....I loved the game.

I don't hate Infinite. I like it as much as the first Bioshock. Oh, wait. Necro.

It had a 94 meta score, so i dont know what bad reviews you say. Its an overrated game but better than current gen FPS story modes. I didnt like the story. Bioshock 1 was the best.

Noob of duty i hear is dropping the story mode and Sony doesn't even make FPS games anymore. Its sad times... only movie games lol

I remember when Infinite came out and people were literally acting like it was the best thing in all of videogamedom, now that the hype train has left the station people are acting like it's absolute mud. That's just the way these sort of things work. You like it, that should be enough.
