I'm glad it's doing so well. I absolutely loved bishock 2. Can't wait to get this one.

Artistically yes, but it has some drawbacks like poor textures

After Crysis 3, I say it's a stretch. Artistically speaking, hell yes!

Activated my copy on steam, just waiting to be able to download it. Since I didn't preorder on steam I don't get to preload.

Scores are amazing! Though i was planning on getting this regardless.... I will be getting the boxed version on PC, and that only happens when I am really anticipated and hyped for a game that is on PC :) This will be my first boxed game on PC (not counting Blizzard) since Skyrim, so that's saying something.dracolich55

Same here. Will be picking up my copy tomorrow, since I'm way too lazy to go to gamestop at midnight and wait in line. And it'll be my first boxed game since Diablo 3, which was the first since Starcraft 2. If we don't count blizzard games, I haven't got a boxed game since... holy sh!t. Bioshock 2. :P

It cut off the first one since there were too many. I just saw that someone asked if Infinite on PC could be the new graphics king, and all you guys immediately replied with something along the lines of, "artistically, definitely. Technically, not a chance." :P

Agreed I see Infinite winning tons of art direction awards at the end of the year the game looks so fvcking beautiful.

That totally makes up for low rendering res, low texture res, scaled back lighting and effects, and brutal framerate dips.

I've heard complaints about all console versions of the game. I've heard quite a bit about how the PC version is better, but nothing about how the PS3 version is better than the 360 version.

Neither game's story was mind blowing.

But atleast BS2 tried to do it's own thing (even if it wasnt anything amazing) ....instead of copying System Shock 2's plot structure.

This will be the 1st game i buy when i build my pc.

How well does it run? Hasn't unlocked for me yet :(ferret-gamer

Runs very well, but has a weird stutter problem and everyone's been getting it. ilke when it has to load something the game drops to 20 fps and shoots back up instantly, not a big deal but enough to stop it dead for a split second.

Ive been getting very solid high 40s - 60s troughout. When nothing is happening then I get above the 100s

What a game it will be to start on too. I advise playing or seeing the console version first just to make the PC version look even better lol

God my PC is a piece of trash these days saving up for a beast but probably won't get it until the end of the year, sadly Bioshock won't look amazing :(

I was not a fan of the first two Bioshocks but all these reviews are making me want to try this one out. :P I'm interested to see how the themes of racism and religion are implemented in the story line. Usually games that dare to push the bar tend to buckle under the pressure and are forced to tippy toe around political correctness to avoid serious repercussions. 

Finally broke down and bought it for 40 bucks at cdkeyhouse, I'm still bitter about spending near full price on Crysis 3 so hopefully I don't regret it.
