Pretty pathetic. DayZ, an uber niche survival game, and is about to hit 1 million and it's still over a year away from release. I guess this is a testament to story-driven games that are poorly written and their selling power.

Dat butthurt. DayZ is incredible btw. What didn't you like during your time with DayZ?
Great movie. Would watch again.
You must be really looking forward to Quantum Break then.
I wasn't aware Quantum Break was a QTE fest consisting almost entirely of QTEs, that can be completed from start to finish with only a smart phone.
The amount of hate in here is impeccable, let's all argue about what is a game and what's not a game until we come to the agreement that we're just starting at a screen pressing buttons then we'll move on into another argument which would be the game that has the most button presses? in which case a typing game will then take the cake on variation and be the ultimate game at staring at a screen pressing buttons.
Great movie. Would watch again.

No you just watch real movies in between missions.

Also DayZ is testament that people will buy anything about a zombie apocalypse.

Oh, so its a regular game with cutscenes and not 9 hours of doing almost nothing like Beyond? Sounds awesome.

An entire TV episode with real actors is not a cutscene.

Where did they say they're showing an entire tv episode?
An awful game had awful sales. Of course, cows will come up with BUT BUT...1 Million.
The game had costed 30M to develop.
1M * 50 bucks = 50M
If we deduce marketing, manufactring and publishing costs, only some 30M left for net profit.
So basically, in six months after launch, they barely managed to cover their devekopment costs, that is, it's a sales flop.
In comparison, Starbound had probably costed 1M to develop, and it sold 1M in one month, 20 bucks a copy
As a result, 19M of income. This is why PC Gaming is growing so fast.
@jhonMalcovich: gamespot score - 9
deal with it
Lol. 9 on gamespot, but a flop in sales. Cows not buying their own exclusives confirmed.
congrats to QD, those sales are great. i'm glad that a niche game like this can sell on the PS platform, it means more will come in the future.
i enjoyed beyond, it wasn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but i definitely had a fun time with it. i heard david cage is getting some writers for the next project on the ps4, this is good.
that is good sales considering the type of game it is, imagine releasing a creative game on sh*tbox lol sell under 100k guaranteed.
Great movie. Would watch again.
are u looking for ward to watching quantium break?
Why would he watch a movie for Ward? Who's Ward? Is that his friend?
@MonsieurX: fraid not. consoles did. pc had more beggin' and petitioning for ports, though. B-)
Not even sure why you keep up those "petitions for ports thing",but it seems you can't defend your point so you bring something unrelated?
Path Of Exile
League of Legends
Dota 2
Gone Home
Football Manager 2014
The Stanley Parable
Europa Euniversalis IV
Civilization V: Brand New World
vs
Beyond Two Souls
Puppeteer
Ni no Kuni
...
Ouch,almost 3 times more AAAE.
inb4 he brings anything related to jelly
inb4 he brings anything related to begging
inb4 he brings anything related to all consoles
Cows love mediocre movies. Nothing to see here except that they could get to watch it for free on youtube.

Stick to watching movies. Games like DayZ aren't for brain dead consololites.
@MonsieurX: Consoles had more AAA, and pc had more petitions. This is common knowledge. You still never answered how many pc exclusives have Won goty. Why the dancing?

PC exclusives really do suck. Gone Home, Stanley Parable and then nerd central.

That was genuinely entertaining and gave me a laugh, thanks for that. Honestly, I like games like Beyond Two Souls and Heavy Rain. If they made the same type of game in a zombie scenario...it probably would sell a lot more.
@zeeshanhaider: lawl day z a game
I know how it feels to have to no games but only press 'X' to win mediocre movies. But then again, you drones aren't intelligent enough to play games. Your products are really built around your below zero intelligence levels.

That would be TLOU.

Not into MMOs but I would still take them over your third rate mediocre movies. Hell even facebook games require more intelligence then your precious press 'X' to win movies.

PS3 has lot of games including GTAV that you hermits desperately want. Just accept that fact that a lot of people like these movie games. Your tastes don't mean shit.
@StrongBlackVine:
GTAV is on xbox360 and?
You are a hermit so why are you bring up Xbox 360. My point is PS3 has tons of games. Beyond Two Souls didn't sell a million because people didn't have anything else to play.
really? What's with people these days?
This thing shouldn't even qualify as a game.
ATLEAST it is a game. It's not affecting the Gaming Industry negatively, like those bloody DLC/Expansion packs/TLOU Mappack garbage.
thats a good thing since i didnt think they would sell that after the reception to heavy rain
Heavy Rain has sold 3 million copies. It was very well received.
