LMAO 不不不

==========================

On Steam and Bethesda's own launcher, Doom Eternal launched with Denuvo DRM built-in to discourage piracy. Unfortunately for Bethesda, Doom Eternal had a DRM-free .exe left amongst the files of the version released on its in-house launcher. A poster on Reddit discovered the file sitting in a folder titled "original," writing "Um guys - I think I "cracked" Doom Eternal? [Serious]."

As cracks go, this one is about as simple as possible. "Open the main game folder and you'll notice the 369 MB denuvo DOOMEternalx64vk.exe," BarryGettman wrote on Reddit. "However, under ..\Doom Eternal\original you'll find a smaller 67 MB .exe with the same name. Copy this .exe to the main folder and overwrite the denuvo .exe."

Other users confirmed it working, and a forum thread on Resetera has a screenshot of the folder with the smaller executable. Bethesda has since updated the Bethesda.net version of the game to remove the DRM-free .exe, but it's too late: the unprotected .exe has already made its way into the piracy circuit. Though it's not just for piratessome players worry Denuvo's anti-piracy code slows down the performance of games they paid for

Imagine spending hundreds/thousands supporting hardware companies while thieving software that costing under a hundred dollars, what a Pitiful Community.

Good old Bethesda. Even in their big successes, they still manage to f*** something up.

Incompetence seems to be their corporate culture.

Good games always sell , Witcher 3 is a good example of that ...

Now there is literally no point to having it.

But they won't remove it, because reason.

Would be impossible to tell either way in this situation (corona). Some people will buy the game just because they have a lot of free time during the quarantine, others will no longer buy games, because they have to save their last dollars to get food, because they got fired and have no savings.

i guess if Half life released today. you would be only praising its mods like CS and TF and hating actual game that matters only.

Why wouldn't he? There's no evidence of the claimed and I'm against online theft. But the matter is, it has no negative on the gaming community.

I wish more developers/publishers paid attention to what CD Projekt Red did with the Witcher series. DRM just prevents legitimate customers from having a good time.

They are really careless with their own property even from this action.

If I was anyone signing up on their services, I'd be really worried about your personal info... you can pretty much be sure they will leak it either on purpose or accidentally. These guys should not be in business.

I remember; it was before November 14th, 2018.

That was the day Bethesda obliterated their reputation with a single game.

Ha, holy shit, what a f*ck up. Is it even piracy at this point? They released the game with a non-DRM exe lol.

You want pirates, go look at why the PSP was so popular but didn't move games, or why the Dreamcast failed.

You're pure comedy at this point, and your name says all anyone needs to know about your maturity level. All good entertainment, though. Keep it up.

Well not as pitiful as the community whose own platform holder abandons them to make an exclusive for the community in question. ;)

Someone with the name br0kenrabbit with a zero shouldn't be taking shots at others "maturity" levels.

As for the Dreamcast, yeah console gamers cracked it didn't they, oh wait no they didn't it was a bunch of PC pirate programmers.

What a pathetic bunch of "gamers" PC users are.

The 0 exists because the place i conjured this username at required at least one numeric character. I still didn't have to resort to potty humor.

And yeah console game copy devices have existed since consoles. There was even a device you could slap on the 8-bit NES and copy your games.

Stop trying so hard, you're not getting anywhere.
