Bethesda announces Indiana Jones game

I'd rather see this than another Wolfenstein from them. I would rather see the DOOM team reboot Wolfenstein.

Doubt matter if it's first or third. Their Wolfenstein games sucked ass compared to RTCW.

It makes perfect sense that an Indie game is coming to us from the temple of DOOM. I hope it's good.

You'll probably be punching most of your enemies instead of shooting most of them. Oh, and it will have an upgrade system. Because they almost all have upgrade systems now.

I've never played the Indy games. When I look up gameplay, it looks much more like the classic Tomb Raider games than the new Tomb Raider games that failed to imitate Uncharted. (Even the setpieces in the new Tomb Raider trilogy were sillier and just worse than Uncharted's.)

Is anyone else hoping for a point-and-click adventure game like Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis?

That was always the best Indiana Jones game - the three paths absolutely captured everything that was good about the franchise.

Imagine an Indiana Jones game where you're exploring pyramids, tombs, caves some ancient cities in the jungle, etc. Like ffs it has so much potential BUT THEY WILL **** IT UP.

Tomb raider always suck. clunky, bad control and was outdated even at time it was released.

watched footage of this indiana jones game and it feel too outdated too.

Third person games get outdated very fast unless its Max payne. come on cup, those games are never good to begin with.

A blank screen on the PS5 is better looking than an Xbox version of the game... Harsh. :-S

Although it might be literally a blank screen on PS5 given MS owns Bethesda and MG so chances are it may not come to PS5.

Gamepass for me but this will be multiplatform I think bethesda will publish the ps5 version.

I'm curious what upgrade systems they will shoehorn. Because I can't remember the last AAA western game I played that did not have an upgrade system. Even though Indiana Jones doesn't lend itself to one. It should barely even be a shooter. Obviously something as natural to him as fighting unarmed. He will learn new moves, even though he has been beating people up for years. His pistol will obviously have its own upgrade tree. Maybe his whip will become longer? Yeah, his whip will become longer. Need to swing at those harder to reach places. His hat? No, that would just be too asinine even for AAA.

I hope it's good. Indiana Jones is prime material for a game, but no Indy game has captured the magic yet. Maybe this time will be different.

Another solid Xbox exclusive. Looking forward to it.

Pretty pumped about this Xbox exclusive personally, as are the rest of us. It's nice that MS has play anywhere, so we can all buy it once and play it on our Xbox/Microsoft Windows PC/Mobile devices for the one price. Do I feel bad it's not going to PlayStation? Sure. But we all know that PS only gamers have these massive powerful PC rigs, so in the end, they should be all set. And Phil will thank them for their purchase.
