already played the 4K version on the PC....but for consoles, this all sounds impressive.

Those saying "but PC!"need to remember HDR on PC is junk. I would take 1440p/checkerboard resolution with HDR over native 4K without it. And if demoed correctly at retailers, I'm sure most consumers would agree.

That being said, I agree that it's odd to showcase 1-2 year old games. Maybe this has more to do with Sonys stranglehold on marketing rights than Microsoft not having any games.

TC welcome to 2 years ago, us pc gamers have been playing this game for quite some time. It must suck that theirs no good game coming out for the xb1x to show off, that you must play 2 year old games.

Nice, hope they eventually upgrade the XB1 version of the 2013 reboot, I liked th at one more myself, but this is good news too.

Sure! I was playing on an LG 49UJ7700 ( 2017 )...it's not the best HDR TV I'm sure but I did google the issue and it seemed to be a known issue, I just didn't have the time to go through all the steps to fix it, if it can be fixed on my TV.

If you haven't played this game yet, I doubt these visual improvements will push you to get it. It looked good on Xbox, then PC, then PS4.

This place moves in circles. Cows hyped the difference while Lems downplayed it in 2013. Now Lems are hyping power while Cows are all like, "exclusives!!" I wish we could establish a set of criteria so we can judge the consoles with some sort of consistency. Then again, Cows are notorious for changing the rules here.

See what I mean? This is a native 4K game because the devs actually said "native." Let's note here that the enriched graphics mode will not be in 4K, which is understandable. So it's 4K or visual upgrade, not both.

I'm talking about X v Pro. And unless you have a 4K TV you get ZERO resolution boost and the same shit framerates. Yeah PS has nothing, endless AAA exclusives compared to zilch, nada for the X but hey who cares about games with a videogame console am I right?

Enjoy that res boost and comedy framerate for your multiplats, well worth $500 of anyone's money. Not.

my 980ti couldnt run this at 4k with most of the settings maxed.
