Best MGS game/version?

MGS2 on PC is the best if you ask me. The graphics are amazingly sharp when compared to the Xbox version of Substance. The default controller layout is for a 'DualShock' sty.le controller. My USB adapter works great without having to configure it. Only downside if applying the latest patches but other than that, on today's hardware, it's smooth sailing. I like Snake Eater and all, but this is the best version and possibly the best MGS game out there right now.

Just hope we get this.

MGS1 on PS1 wtf. i really think that game was truely amazing for it's time and i still enjoying playing MGS1 to this day. plus the story was MUCH better. i don't really know what kojima has been smokin when he came up with the stories for MGS2 and MGS3 but it must have been some really good stuff. he introduced vampires, a random girl that can't die, wtf is all of that? MGS1's story was MUCH better than MGS2 and MGS3 imo too

Metal Gear Solid for PS1....It had the best characters and was the most memorable experience for me

MGS3 : Subsistance Special Version is the best, by far.

Anyways, Why would you compare MGS2 PC to MGS2 Xbox? The Xbox version was the shabby, uglier version. I know that no matter what the PC version sports the highest resolution's, but you can't do any of the DUALSHOCK 2 ANALOG feature sets.

MGS 3 :L Subsistance is the best version though, not only comparing extra's, but MGS ONLINE as well.

I notice that Lemmings always seem to like MGS1 the best....concidence? That's probably why they never got a PS2, they had halo and convinced themselves MGS 2 and MGS3 hopefully were bad. Even probably bought the horrible controlling, Framerate stuttering, MGS2 a year later on Xbox to prove themselves right. Just a theory, at least with some of these posts.

Same seems to go for the sheep as well, in some of these posts.

I do agree that MGS1, Like the First Matrix had the best story, MGS2's Gameplay enhancements were too awesome.
