Berserk And The Band Of The Hawk Review | 5/10

Now, I know. Why did I made a thread about this review? For starters, it's not exclusive, and it's a musou game. No one gives a darn. So, why did I?

Well, what I did like about the "Bad" section was the following:

'Exhibits the shallowest form of Warriors-style gameplay'

How bad do you have to screw up in order to reach that kind of level? I'm still getting it, but damn, if the complaint is that the combat is bland, even for musou standards, we should be in for a treat.

Here have a playable horse instead whose only role was to try to do naughty and depraved things to Farnese.

How could they make a Berserk Game and not feature Skull Knight as a playable character?

I'm a fan of the anime so maybe I'll check it out anyway, when it's cheap.

This is the type of game that belongs on the X1. The are use to mediocre experience and thus have become pain freaks.

Fans of the anime/manga. Even though I like Musou this one doesn't look as good as some of the more recent games like Samurai Warriors 4 and Hyrule Warriors. Finding out it doesn't have co-op was the final nail on me not spending any more $15-20 on it.

I now understand how those who read Novels feel when the adaptation of their favourite novel comes out as shit. I've read the manga and I fell awful when these crap adaptation of such masterpiece are made. The new CGI crapshow and now this. Man I'm still waiting for someone to do FMA Brotherhood and AOT treatment with this manga and finally do some justice.

I like it so far. Unlike trational musou games the combat is weighty, but it is on the simple side. The story is good as someone who has never read the manga or watched the original anime. The cutscenes are nice but I think they are based off the cgi new anime that everyone hates.

I like that there are actual boss stages but they are pretty simplistic so far. The story is really good and I like the art and the setting. 7.5/10

Sigh I wonder if we'll ever get a good Berserk game. The DC one was decent.
