Battlestar Galatica to be download only

The new Battlestar Galatica game scheduled for this fall will be avaible by download only for the PC and XBLA. From the article

We wanted to bring a more intense combat experience to gamers. From a story standpoint, fans will be able to relive key battles from the first two seasons of the show, and then we'll add new content and missions outside of that."

The press release also reports that Battlestar will feature both a single and multiplayer mode, as well as the ability to play as both the robotic Cylons and human meatbags.

For any 360 owners that are fans of this show gamer pics and themes are avaible.

Well in another article I read on this the company said that they have had proposals for another console game.

"We love 'Battlestar Galactica' and we've had proposals to do another 'Battlestar Galactica' console game, but we haven't moved forward just yet," Kisbert said. "We feel that the show is so rich in mythology and politics and drama and story that when we do it, we'll take a full two to three years to do it right on next-generation consoles."

While Battlestar is the best show on television by a huge margin, I have the feeling that this game version won't impress.

Hmm... I haven't seen that report before. Do you know if it's relating to the MMO, or an entirely different game?blurb1324

I don't know this is all I have been able to find on any other up coming Battlestar Galatica game. It might be about the MMO but it is hard to tell.
