New Multiplayer Launch Trailer... I'm going to fast forward it for you all to the best part...
That is why BF4 is awesome.
So good. Still need to play all the maps, and experience all the levolutions.

Also the differences between the PS4 version and Xbox One version are minimal. Seriously, more minimal than the differences between early PS3/360 games. You get a bit more sharper colors and texture filters due to the Xbox One's upscaling (I think it's hardware) and you get a less aliased picture and less framerate drops on the PS4. Big freaken deal.
Give it a rest.
Nope, comparing minimal differences will continue an entire generation, just like the previous one.
So it is Battlefield 3.5?
Not at all, at least for console owners. The game went from SubHD/30fps/24players to 900p/60fps/64players + better graphics. Isn't it good enough?
Only ever played in the PC. So I suppose not much has changed. I do like the sea battles thing.
@danabo: Not really. The differences are still minimal and you're ignoring the fact that the PS4 version is running a higher internal resolution.
Only problem with the PS4 version that I can see is that they are utilizing a software upscaler that washes out the picture just a bit. You get a smoother image but the texture detail is lost a bit

What........????? You can't see the 1.8tflop difference, and GDDR25 effects, or maybe the 50% more power in those graphics? Your eyes must be biased.

Plenty has changed, but they are all core refinements and additions to BF3. The levels are all far better than BF3's, there is more meaningful destruction and ways to change the map, the shooting has been refined quite a bit, the power weapons lead to some interesting mechanics, the graphics are overall upgraded, the interface is much improved, commander is back along with in-game VoiP and 5 man squads which make it much easier to play as a team, the squad perk system forces more teamwork on people, movement is better, and the whole game feels more complete.
It's not doing anything groundbreaking, but it's doing everything extremely well.

Even the "New Metro" killwhore map is better. Although I'm not sure if everyone realizes that there is an outside portion to the map.

Well, yes.

With all the misinformation that was spread, I was expecting the differences to be far more substantial. Shame on me for believing Sony, again.
BATTLEFIELD COMPARISON FARCE!!! PS4 Co-op Campaign Footage vs X1 True Single player Campaign Footage
There's something I noticed in the top right of all the comparison images, gifs, videos etc. that were posted last night. In EVERY instance the PS4 is running a co-op version of the campaign whereas the Xbox One version is running single player.
Could this be the discrepancy some are noticing with the textures? What would the PS4 version look like if it was legit single player?! Why won't DF show the real 1P vs 1P comparisons!?
Evidence here... check out the top right corner it's clear that the PS4 version is running co-op:
here it appears the ps4 is running 5 player co-op and being compared to x1 single player:
.. WTF!? I could be wrong but this doesn't look good for the Xbox one if the comparisons are still favoring the PS4 version and it's not even true single player. Ouch.
(edit to say: sorry if this is off topic I made a thread but it got locked and I was told to post this here... :/)
@danabo:
Your denial and butthurt is strong.
900p better effects and framerate >>>> 720p with jaggies and frame drops.
if that's true, frame drops are no bueno for a game that is played mostly online
I noticed that the single player on my PC is more demanding than multiplayer. DICE upped the effects quite a bit in a lot of scenes in the single player. I guess they didn't care as much about framerate. The upside is they look absolutely fantastic.

What I notice is that the Hud on the Xbox One version is much larger than the Hud on the PS4.
Why is that?
ugh still downloading since yesterday, only at 8/24 GB. hate my internet
Well don't you live in the mountains or some shit?
This Thread and System Wars Today.
Going to be like this for the rest of the generation.

and they are pretty crazy drops. PS4 version is always ahead by 10-20 frames.

Apart from when it's not, of course.
But keep doctoring those images!

Also the PS4 version it have a lot better FPS..........by 10-20 frames.

Not mounatins but it IS very hilly and covered in an ass load of trees :P
@danabo: lol you're still in denial. DF even mentioned the steadier framerate of the PS4 in their analysis. They mentioned the PS4 is always ahead by 2-4 fps on average and higher by a lot more in heavy sequences like the exploding canister in Baku.
Keep on damage controlling though, it's hilarious to watch you make a fool of yourself.

Try CheatEngine. Worked marvellously for me. Download speed went from 100 KBs to 5 MBs
Be careful with extra software they offer to install.

This... seems we're in for a repeat of this gen, once again, minimal differences where the "winners" are often subjective to the viewer... if they can even manage to spot the differences.

Minimal differences.....??
so far from all the various sources:
-PS4 higher resolution
-PS4 more stable framerate
-PS4 better effects (textures, ambient occlusion, motion blur, ...clouds, etc)
-PS4 looks (runs?) better in MP as well. PS4 MP looks better than X1 SP according to alot of people...

I don't see them... hell, even going by that GIF of yours in the post above, I'd give X1 a very slight edge.
As I said, the "winner" is subjective to the viewer, both versions have a few strengths and weaknesses, but ultimately, the differences are minimal.
Fortunately, I don't have to choose... if I ever get my hands on BF4, going for the PC version, the good stuff!
This probably shows the largest difference............PS4/XBone.
The XO actually looks better in that gif
You need glasses......the superior version is the PS4.
-PS4 has no black crush (i.e., can actualy see detail in shadows)
-PS4 has better anti-aliasing (look at wires and tower)
-PS4 has additional/better effects (see volumetric clouds, ambient occlusion, etc.)
Speaking as a pc gamer primarily, if you guys can't see noticeable differences between the two versions you need to get your eyes checked asap.

what wires? The XO in that gif just looks sharper
Cows still trying to convince people that the extra power wasn't bullshit. What does this remind me of? Oh that's right, last gen and the PS3.
Stevo, you should add a chart in the OP detailing the differences in the ps4 and xbone versions.
On it.

It really does remind me of the 2006 launch.

Resolution, the lower it is the larger the UI is (cos less pixels).
I bit the bullet and VPN'd BF4 so i could play it before release, just did a few campaign missions so far, Ultra graphics and its one ridiculously good looking game, captured some footage with Shadowplay should be uploaded soon.
