Battlefield 1 graphics is amazing

Another PC exclusive (gameplay keyboard, graphics, frame rate, 4k, chat, mods) meanwhile PS4 users have to accept blurry screen, bad frame rate, assist aim, no chat and downgraded graphics.

They definitely did a good job with this game.

The game looks good, but I don't think it's the best looking one yet.

On console it looked a lot worse than battlefield 1. Battlefield 3 just had wrong coloring but Battlefield 3 still looks great. Also Playstation 3 held graphics back. On PC however BF3 still looks great (2011 game).

So that's all the game is got? Cux I hear it plays like Battlefront and that was utter shit.

Battlefront still looks good to me but Battlefield 1 gameplay and it's WW1 is what I'm more interested then pretty graphics.

@FreedomFreeLife: what you have shown looks like ps4 version and I have had no frame rate drops,I don't play with aim assist and I play fps games better on the ds4(which is also on PC) and I don't use chat,so no problem for me.

Well it's blurry on PS4 and Xbox but since it's on TV, you just don't see that. PC you get aimshot, DS4 does not let you get aimshot without assist. Fact is that with keyboard and mouse you react faster and better than with ds4 since with ds4 you must press >>>>>>> to turn >>>>> meanwhile with mouse you do that with less than 1 second. This is why console have no RTS games. Controller is just way too slow and bad.

Most gamers don't see jaggies on TV screen but when you put on monitor, then you can see jaggies (console version). TV you look from very far when you playing game, this is why you don't see lower graphics.

Why are you obsessed with UC4 if you think the game looks and plays bad...

The graphics are pretty astounding. DICE utilizes photogrammy to create the surface materials and textures while the engine uses physically based rendering in place of diffuse, specular, and bump maps. It's also why Battlefront looked so beautiful.

Runs extremely well too. I'm pulling in 110 FPS at 1440p.

Cant stand online shooters but I downloaded it anyway just to see what its like. When I decided to play, Origin wouldn't work. I'll try again tonight maybe if I'm bored.

I tried last night and spawned without weapons, all session. I gave up. lol

How long is the beta running? I am getting my 1080 on Saturday and want to wait to play it then.

Dice stated they don't even know themselves when the Beta ends but from the looks of it, not anytime soon and so with that, you'll got plenty of time to play it, even this Saturday when your 1080 arrives to play it.

Also I'll be getting my MSI 1070 2 weeks now and want to have it ready for Battlefield 1 just to replace my 970.

Keyboard and mouse hurt my hands and I play way better on the ds4 so it's not a fact.

I don't see lower graphics what's the problem with that?it already has amazing graphics on ps4 and sure PC has better graphics but I don't want to be bothered with getting new parts for my PC when I can play on ps4.

I don't have any problems while I'm playing at all.

And pretty damn optimized as well. High settings and pulling 60-80fps on an r9 380

EA servers have been DDOSed the entire day, so the game worked about half the time.

LOL at this place. Originally it was "PC doesn't count, so if it is on one console and not another it's a 'console exclusive'" then it was "PC does count, so now the brand I don't like (but somehow less-so the one that I do) no longer has exclusives and is all multiplat" and now it is "every game is PC exclusive because PC counts SO HARD"

I get about 110 FPS on average with my GTX 1080 at 1440p. It's very well optimized.

9/8/2016 isn't bad and that's next Thursday (at the time of this post) so Chicken has lots of time to play it.

Downloading it just now, I'll try it out later on. I'll probably get it anyway because I have a bunch of mates who live in Battlefield.

I'm sure it looks great but as a huge Battelfield fan, I'm more concerned about the amount of glitches we could face at launch. They need to make up for the historical BF4 launch disaster.

Honestly, it's impressive how does DICE manage to get these results (huge maps, beautiful visuals, 60fps, 64 players online, destruction, dynamic weather, etc, etc), while other devs are still stucked to 8v8 games, small arenas and static environments!?

BF1 is by miles the graphics king, not sure why you would compare it to UC4, though when there are better looking games on PC. Compare it to those (Even DF agrees).

@Heil68: Just out of interest, what mode did you play? Because I just had a go and with the team based objective I spawned with no weapon yet the other mode was fine. I guess it was supposed to be like that, but I literally turned the game off as soon as I spawned.

I think after the beta, I might hop back on BF3 and BF4.

I have it on the PS4 and it looks very good on there, I'm not disappointed at all at what I was playing.

@Wasdie: I think I am certainly getting 60fps at 4k with my 980ti. I didnt have a FPS counter on so I cannot confirm what I was getting, but the game is super smooth.

Also, a side note. I dont know why no one mentions the sound quality on Battlefield games as much as graphics. To me the sound is far more impressive than the graphics.

The weather changing up the level, the destruction, the terrain that can be blown up now... It's really incredible tech.

It does look great and I'm getting surprisingly good performance too. ~70 fps average, 3440x1440 with a 980ti. But my monitor is 60hz so it's a solid 60fps basically.

My earlier statement where I said I was getting 60fps at 4k is a lie, I switched to 1440p and there was a huge difference in increased performance ha. Playing with DX12 enabled and ultra settings. The game is quite fun actually. I was flying a plane when the weather got so foggy I could not see a thing and crashed.
