As of right now, what 2016 JRPG are you looking forward to the most?

I assume the poll is rigged so that anyone who votes anything other than P5 will automatically get banned

Kingdom Hearts 3, though I'm really not sure it will come next year.

Followed after that is Persona 5 and then Final Fantasy XV.

Anyone who votes for Persona 5 gets banned.

Anything that comes to PC. Recently picked up Zestiria and the 2 Hyperdimension Neptunia games. Feels good to see more of these games coming to PC. Always loved Tales, Symphonia and Vesperia being my favorites.

Dark Souls 3.

Final Fantasy XV I'd say.

Anyone who likes Chie will also get banned :P

Way to hard for me, couldnt really decide between Fire Emblem Fates, Dragon Quest XI on 3DS, Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem, or Persona 5, i went with Fates though, i like how they are catering to casual and hardcore, to me it means more might play the games and get more made.

Dude... where the **** is Star Ocean 5? I can't vote till that's on there.

To be honest I have to say Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem, FF15 (if it comes out), KH3, Fire Emblem Fates and Persona 5 are all tied for my most hyped jrpgs for next year.

I know it might be hard to get your head around, but some of us Xbox gamers like rpg's, whether their from the east or the west, just not 24/7 like a lot of Playstation owners.

Tie between Nier Automata, Gravity Rush 2 and Final Fantasy 15. Persona 5 is up there too, but turn-based is not what I prefer.

@i_p_daily: They don't count be we know nothing about those games. I doubt you do either. One is a remaster/remake and one is not a 2016 game for sure.

@StrongBlackVine: So Strangers of Sword City is being released in march 2016 and has extra content, but somehow doesn't qualify, I will have to remember that when FF7 gets a release date and another one of these threads pop up.

As for Students of the Round 2, he states that the game will be released between April 2016 and March 2017, so I could indeed come out next year.

Besides where did the OP state that XB1 jrpg's don't count? this is System Wars right, and the last I checked the XB1 is a system and has at least 1 maybe 2 jrpg's coming out next year. So in the end the only thing that doesn't really count is your comments.

The 360 and Vita version of Strangers is out right now, but only in Japan, so do we even know if these games will come to the west?

During a Ustream event (via Pure Xbox), company CEO Hajime Chikami explained both titles will be released digitally worldwide with full English translations.

Games I want:

• as a fan of the Persona games on PS2, Persona 5 for PS4 for sure, when I get around to getting a PS4
• that Nier trailer for PS4 looked pretty dope
• SMT4: Final for the 3DS for sure
• Bravely Second, other than that whole bit about replaying the same ground again and again, I think the series has potential to grow into something better, hopefully
• Fire Emblem If (or whatever it's now called), Fire Emblem Awakening was my first and a good graphical tech demo of the 3DS, but as a game lacked content, battlefields got old quick, the game rather heavy-handedly promoted DLC, I hope they do better next time
  

Games I'm on the fence about:

• SMT x FE - what I"m seeing of this game isn't doing it for me so far, hopefully something comes along to change my mind but everything I've seen to date has been underwhelming.
• Kingdom Hearts 3 & FFXV - I mean Square Enix makes okay JRPGs, they're kind of the staple name of them, I might consider either of these, maybe, we'll see how things go

@i_p_daily: Yes that was a poor choice of words. It obviously counts if fit the genre. I meant they weren't being hyped or talked about and that is why they probably were not on this list instead of being an intentional omission because of platform.
