Are you happy with the console you chose for this current gen?

Ill never understand the blind devotion. I will always get whatever provides me with the greatest gaming experience. For me, it’s the playstation. Best games and virtual reality. I also have a gaming pc that I can play all MS games if I want to.

Happy with the Xbox brand three generations in a row. Great games, great online, great controller, great features, and great customer service. I can’t fathom another console that can’t play the entirety of my favorite shooter Halo, and the best racing franchise in gaming Forza.

I chose both consoles and the xbox one couldn't be more worthless as the exclusives suck. the genesis would have been cool to own with the snes, the xbox one just isnt needed at all next to the ps4 or wanted really.

I enjoyed the offerings on Ps4.

Bought a PS4 at launch because they were available, they finally made a control for my large hands. Good system, though I'm not a big fan of many of their exclusives, I will play the occasional multiplat on it since I didn't bother with MS this gen. They lost me with that power brick and kinect at launch.

I had written Nintendo off till they unveiled the Switch and I was in love, fantastic system and I wish I could play all my games on it. I have a very powerful PC I use for work, though I can easily play games if I wanted. Very happy with the switch

This is the first time, ive managed to afford them all. So I'm pretty happy about all of it.

I went with Xbox one and strange as it sounds to some people got my money's worth. Hundreds of hours in halo master chief collection.

Yup. My main system is the Switch and I love it so friggin much.

Second comes my pc which always does its job well but doesn’t get as much attention from me since I got the Switch.

Third I’ll lump the 3ds and PS4 together. Neither system I played too much. 3ds treated me well on trips and PS4 has mainly served as my only blu ray player at home. The need for a blu ray player is what finally convinced me to get a ps4 and I have no regrets. Lots of great games I might play on PS4 but just haven’t had the need for.

God, yes. And this forum is a constant reminder of that. Not only did Playstation deliver, but Xbox waved the white flag and put their games on PC where I can play them. Talk about working out.

I wish Sega was still a console provider but Sony seems to be the best substitute. Looking at how this generation panned out, I could not have made a better choice than PS4.

Nintendo Switch is also looking excellent, I may purchase one before the year is over.

I have a gaming PC just in case something cool is made but it's just a multi-plat box with little use TBH.

The controller felt odd, but got use to it.

I can say I enjoy my PS4 since launch but giving I have played just about every PS4 game their is, Nintendo Switch just came out of nowhere and I been playing it alot more so then I thought but that's only because the portability makes my life easier to just play it on the go and if it was just another ordinary console, I wouldn't play it that much to begin with. All in all, I'm happy with both PS4/Switch offerings and as @freedom01 said, "as long as I enjoy the games I get to play, I am happy with the system I got" is a valid point.

Yes, I'm happy with the console choices I have made. PS4, X1, and Switch.

Great games across each of them, each one having something else to offer. I primarily game on my PS4 Pro and Switch, but my X1 is a terrific Halo machine and late last year I subscribed to Game Pass and the service is terrific.

I bought PlayStation 4 at Launch and also PlayStation 4 pro at launch. Xbox one I only bought when Microsoft dropped Kinnect from the console. Bought the smaller Xbox one S at launch. I just only bought Nintendo Switch because of Smash Bros ultimate. I have the most games for PS4 and just 4 games for Nintendo Switch since I just bought it. I am happy with my main console choice PlayStation 4 and the 8th Generation of games over all.

Well I got an Xbox One first this gen and have been very happy with it. I usually end up owning all the consoles in each generation and will get a PS4 eventually.

Consoles are for exclusives only because they are all full of compromises. No regrets about the games I've played on them, I just don't do out of my way to play a game on a console if I don't have to.

Pretty much a ditto for me. I may hold off on the PS4 IF the PS5 is BC(hoping for a better controller as well). I'm waiting on a price drop for a switch, as I won't use the portability much and as a home console it is too expensive for what you get. Every other 3D gen until this one I've had all the systems.

There are plenty of games of every system that anybody should be happy with any system.

I’m happy with both my Xbox and ps4. If I had to pick only one platform for this gen it would be my PC but honestly I be happy with any of em.

With the PS4 I feel I'm not missing much. Pretty much 90% of games I want to play I can play on it. Never felt the need to purchase any other system even though I could afford to. I nearly bought a Switch for Bayonetta 2 and 3 alone (and to see whats all the fuss about BotW) but suddenly realized 300€ for just three games of interest to me wasnt worth it. Only future will tell if the Switch will have more worthwhile games and if so, I'll buy one

BOTW was fantastic but I got that for the WiiU I bought for my wife and daughter. Nothing else made me want to buy a console in order to play it so I am happy that I didn't choose any of them. As usual, the PC has been more than enough.

Certainly I am happy I have a PS4. It is the machine that has gotten the most gaming out of me in the last year. The Switch got some, too, but really needs more games.

The Xbox one S is a well built system with a lot of good features for the price. I have hours upon hours on Halo MCC and Gears so I'm content.
