LOLno. I thought it looked weird, then it came out and it still looked weird but also really boring. With a stack of games that are right for my tastes to work through I'm not gonna gamble on this one

All jest aside, despite I own Death Stranding PS4, would've buy it on PC but to pay full price, ($60) I couldn't bring myself to push the button despite I'm ready to start my second play. I'll wait when it goes into a deep sale and it's not one of those games I wanna play so badly and I'm gonna be busy with Ghost of Tsushima anyway.

At least Horizon: Zero Dawn is a worthy purchase on PC and that game looks more impressive for a PC port.

After the first gameplay reveal the hype died ... only people who tried to defend this abomination in the making were those who felt obligated to hype it (and eventually claim they love it) because it was a Sony exclusive or a Kojima game ... or were feeling pretentious.

Death Stranding seems like exactly the type of open world game that becomes a complete chore to finish. Nevertheless, I'm still a bit intrigued by Kojima's weirdness so I might buy it some day on sale.

I grabbed this for $47 and Horizon for $42 off of Greenmangaming. Both Steam keys, too, which is a mega win.

No, I already beat it for the PS4. Great game, by the way. Solid 8.5/10. It needs a sequel, I believe it can be highly improved upon to make it a superb experience.

Launch price? **** no. Dirt cheap? Maybe. I dunno why cows hyped this shit up then quickly disregarded the game when they out it was coming to PC.

Nope. Already got a podcast game; i.e. a calm, contemplative, stress-free game to play with my headphones down so I can listen to podcasts and YouTube videos on my phone.

I'll give it a whirl when it is on sale for <20 bucks. Hopefully this winter.

The game does not really appeal to me. I may try it in a humble bundle or something or maybe if it is really cheap. Very low priority title for me though.

Don't really plan on replaying until later, but went ahead and grabbed it to check it out.

As expected, looks and runs way better than on PS4. Performance being the most noticeable difference, but it looks good. Man made structures still bleh, but the natural environments look great. Never gave a shit about ultra wide tbh, but I bet this game looks fantastic in that format.

Also some nice new options. A very hard difficulty mode. Extra QOL stuff, like not having to go through that mini "cutscene" every time you enter a BT zone. Plenty of other minor options that I don't remember the PS4 version having, at least not when I played.

Great port so far tho, bodes well for those looking forward to Horizon.

H:ZD is a great game. It is going to be amazing not having to ever play it again at a shit 30fps. Fucking consoles... WORST!

Loved early teasers and the mystique the game had going but decided to wait until reviews and more gameplay came out.

Decided it wasn't my cup of tea so i passed it on PS4 and think I'll do the same during PC release.

Maybe I'll give a go at one point in time but there are games that hold my interest far more then Death Stranding.

It was a chore on PS4. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The fact that Gamespot gave it a 9/10 is mind boggling. The first hour is remarkably well put together. Then you realize the gameplay is walking with suitcases and trying to stay upright, interspersed between nonsense cut scenes and monster energy drink ads.

Not really. I'm pretty indifferent to Kojima, and I never hyped it. That being said, I finished it and put a lot of time into it, and found it pretty enjoyable.

I didn't even buy it on PS4. Not my type of game.

everything i've seen and read about this game makes me uninterested in playing it, so "no"..

of all the potential PS4 timed-exclusives that could end up on PC, i'd pick up Horizon, God of War, and Bloodborne.. Uncharted 4 would be a maybe.. i got platinums in Uncharted 1 and 2 but lost interest at 3..

I’m gonna force myself to play the PS4 version (Pro) as a punishment for my impatience. Well, if I ever play it again that is. The game seems pretty mindless, but the setting seems cool and I enjoy the music. If I ever find the time to go back to it, it will be on PS4 Pro.
