I"m just wondering how many people changed from a Playstation Fanboy to an Xbox Fanboya and vise versa? Last Gen I had both a PS2 and an Xbox (as well as a Gamecube). This Gen, I have a 360 and a Wii.RickLemieuxwent from stone cold PS faboy to 360/DS fanboy....theyre the best systems out there
You are a Nintendo fanboy/ps2 fan that has become angry that the ps3 is so expensive. Now you are a sheep.Nike_Air
I was freed from the Sony camp after the PS1. I enjoyed my system and all its games. At that point in time you couldnt tell me anything wrong about Sony. But after I fell for all the lies and hype of the PS2, I decided to try the Dreamcast and loved it... I known all about blown up specs for the PS2 before it launched because I was doing graduate research about the system and the potential of the Emotion Engine for uses other than gaming. Once the system launched and the engineer world (not the gaming industry), got wind of the bull Sony was calling a "Super Computer" the project was immediately scrapped.
The migration to the Xbox was natural because the design was similar to the DC. Regardless of the success of the PS2 I felt Sony was headed in the wrong direction and I wasnt going to support it (PSX anyone?). The need for Sony to try and overstuff a machine with products and features failed miserably with the PSX... So once the PS3 was announced with everything including the kitchen sink, I knew Sony had completely lost their way in the gaming world. The product I once loved was destroyed by corporate greed....
Now just because I had an Xbox didnt mean the 360 was a no brainer purchase. When MS announced the multiple SKUs, and HDD-less core model, I almost sh!t a brick. How could a company that innovated the console industry by getting rid of obsolete memory cards go and pull a dumb stunt like this...? Till this day it still boggles the mind of how MS could have had complete dominance over the market but made just enough stumbles to promote competition.
Well I bit the bullet, flipped a coin, shouted a few hail marys and ended up with my 360...the lesser of two evils!!! I enjoy my games, XBL, etc etc.....things could be better in 360land, but at least I not running around like a chicken with its head cut off hyping system features versus enjoying a great game lineup.
Game On...
I am a PlayStation fanboy that turned into an avid PlayStation fanboy.
