Are there really gamers that could stand without Mass Effect this May ?

I mean the game is constantly getting better, and the hundreds of planets to explore are something out of this world, literally !!!! :)

How could anyone stand without that game ??? It is beyond me really

i have a feeling the whole "so many planets to discover" idea is not going to be as good as it sounds.........

the whole conversasion simulation thing is pretty cool though

I can stand without it. I didn't like KOTOR, I didn't like jade empire, and personally I don't understand the hype for this game. :? Dr_Evil_PhD

I can. Shooting doesn't look better than what FPSes do and roleplaying sounds to be really lacking.AdrianWerner

Getting better? No one has even played it yet, If you mean it has gotten better from the Kotor Gameplay that it has been using, then i agree. The game has advanced in some ways. But honestly guys, this is one of the most over-hyped and probably over-rated rpg this year. I'll play it on my PC. The amounts of planets don't really mean anything, since your not going to explore the whole planet, just think of them as large dungeons. Gameplay-8 Graphics-9 Sound -9 Value-9 Tilt- 8 Based off trailers...,.of gameplay.Adrian_Cloud

Most over-hyped game is hands down Killzone 2, considering the first sucked and nothing has been shown for the second. Don't base your review off of videos, you might change your mind in 2 years when the first Mass Effect comes to PC.

Yes. I'm hoping for a March or April release. I don't want to have to wait much longer. However the wait shouldn't be too bad because FFXII was finally released here not long ago so I should be playing it for a while.

I'm sure Mass Effect wil be fantastic and enjoyable, but to me it's another sci-fi shooter. Too many bloody sci-fi shooters/action games coming out from Bioshock to MGS4. This is just WWII games back in 2005.  Optusnet

Mass Effect isn't a shooter it's an RPG. Yes it has guns but so does FFXIII and most other futuristic RPGs including KOTOR. The way you use the guns is better than any other sci-fi RPG before it but it's still an RPG at it's core.

I think the game looks fun, but I'm not incredibly excited for it. I don't like the sci-fi theme so much.
